Well, I was out of town without internet access, in the vote on Morgoth. But why did Yellow not vote against him?


EDIT: And then Yellow goes and pushes against JA. That makes no sense - if JA didn't want to drop the hammer on Morgoth, he could have just pretended to not be around, rather than being dramatic about it and trapping himself. There's no way a Symp hammers his Killer when there are still seven people - maybe with five. But Yellow is pushing it.

I can't believe what I'm reading frankly. How does JA get away with it? To me he's very obviously the first choice for Morgoths partner.

You do realise that DKT made a case (which I believe has merit) on Morgoth and JA and then voted JA. And a number of us expressed interest in voting JA.
Morgoth was the one who came along and defended and tried to pull it apart.

Morgoth not JA. Why would Morgoth go and defend when we were voting JA? Morgoth could have just voted JA when we were all thinking of switching to prove he wasn't partnered, instead he defended it.

Then take a look at the lynch of Morgoth, I felt like it was pulling teeth trying to get JA to vote Morgoth.

Well, if you guys guess wrong and lynch me, we can still win, since we only need two Innos to win.

I'd prefer to not be lynched, but ... I can see how it wouldn't be a disaster. Unless Gavin's really scum, and lynching Morgy was just a really clever move on his part.

EDIT: And then Gavin comes along and gives me another possibility to worry about ...

I'm ... not seeing that. If he didn't want to be put in that position, he simply could have voted for Ment and stuck with it on principle, instead of volunteering to be the hammer on Morgoth. He wasn't asked to hammer, he put himself out there.

but once again, I really fail to see the logic in playing the drama queen if he was scum, ESPECIALLY considering that he was trying to vote ME off for the EXACT same reason.
he could've either kept convincing Venge or you to vote me, or just bite the bullet and lynch Morgoth right away. either situation would make him look far less scummy that how it is now.

And I refuse to vote off JA today based on meta reasoning.

me and you are as close as this game has to PIs. I feel it prudent that we discuss all the other suspects. and, like I said, my plan is to vote JA off tomorrow if the game doesn't end today, and both of us are alive tomorrow.

Morgy is scum, a case was built involving him and JA were linked and which JA was voted on. Morgoth defended it. Why would he do that if they're not linked?

I am confident in Yellow being non scum (take a look at who Ment Morgoth was keen to lynch on Day 5, me and Yellow), Ment is VPI, and Kurt has refused to take the easy option and go for JA, hardly a stance the symp would take when the JA lynch would seem the way forward.

The only person left is JA.

The problem I have with the JA business is that a.) he drew a lot of attention to himself with that hammer, when he very easily could have been less dramatic and gotten the same "hey, I'm soooo PI now" result; and b.) it doesn't make sense tactically - if he's scum, now he has to get the Innos down to just one other person. Possible, but if you don't lynch him today, you're sure as hell going to lynch him tomorrow.

More importantly, if we lynch JA today and he comes up Inno, tomorrow it's got to be Gavin. He's pushing hard on an unlikely case, a case that relies on JA making a major gamble by hammering his partner.

Picture this: one of Yellow/Kurt gets lynched, comes up inno. Tomorrow is our last chance, and I"m the only logical choice, with people pissed I didn't get lynched today. No way I'll convince you to lynch the other, so game over with scum win.

Whereas if you lynch me today, then tomorrow is a much tougher day for the remaining killer.

Yellow attacked me, which is the inno thing to do. Kurt attacked Yellow, which is the scum thing to do.

I'm been quite wrong all game, so I hope this is true and can help you for tomorrow. Don't worry, I'll hammer myself to get the lynch today.

I have no idea what your argument is supposed to mean. If you want to hammer yourself ... do it. You're talking the talk without walking the walk. Instead, you voted for me.

And my attack on Yellow is primarily based on the fact that two people didn't vote for Morgoth: Myself, and Yellow. I know I'm Inno, but you guys don't have any reason to trust that ... soooo it makes sense to lynch myself and Yellow. I'd prefer, obviously, that Yellow goes first, since then I'd be around for the win if he's really scum.

See, that's where I disagree. For the scum, I'm the easy lynch today, yes, but then what?

Whereas Kurt took a little chance by going for Yellow, who knows, if Ment and I follow him, he's gold today because he can "cry" that he's been weaseled and and I'm really the way forward for the last chance to lynch.
