Well he retired from Diplomacy 6 so I'm guessing Morgoth is opting out. Dunno what that means for the game though, as now we don't have an Austria...

Is anyone doing anything with this game sometime? Like resolving (I suppose we have no austrian moves?) or officially declaring the game stopped until we again have another player and an arbitrator? Or ending the game completely?

Im not sure anyone has it, tbh. Just do what I did for the 6.0 game and "edit map" and season, copying the pic on here. Worked pretty well for me.

I think there are. At least I submitted for fall 1905. But I don't think we have orders from Austria.

Hmm, ok... I will try and find someone to take over from Morgy... any volunteers of course welcome! Worst comes to the worst, I will look at previous moves and submit some austrian moves myself in a few days, before looking at anything other people have submitted, but that's a very much worst-case scenario.

OK guys, just to make things a bit clearer. We are still one player short, since HD doesn't particularly want to start again, Mappo can stay as Russia. There are two options:
1) We can put the game officially on hold and all make an effort to find another player.
2) I can play as austria while a replacement is searched for.

It's up to you guys, I don't mind either option. I'm not going to set a new deadline until we have decided what we are going to do, however.

Slick, it would be very helpful if you can play as Russia, thank you. I recommend sending Hoosier a message asking what his plans were etc.

Provisionally, I'm setting a deadline of Friday 10PM (British Summer Time) for Fall '05. If anyone has any problems with this, tell me. Orders have already been submitted by a few countries, so it shouldn't be too much trouble, I hope.

Thanks for everyone's patience with the changeover. Hopefully now we should start moving again at a decent pace.

Just for clarification, the new list of players, as far as I can work out, is:
Tira - England
DiBs - France
Macros - Germany
TT - Italy
MTS - Austria
Slick Mongoose - Russia
Grief - Turkey

Please tell me if any of this is wrong. I'm not up to date with the strikes either, so I'm just gonna say that you get 24-hour extensions if you miss a deadline, and that is it, I shall resolve without your orders if you miss the extension and haven't given me advanced warning.

The game is afoot. If anyone wants the DPY, I am happy to email it to them after each move (will wait for any retreats before doing so, however) so please let me know by posting in this thread (I know some email addresses, but not all so you'll need to tell me that too if you want it).
