Mafia 40.75 or is that 39.62?

I was convinced Kaschan was already voting Silanah when he said "one minute". You guys made me check back, and :sofa:

I'll say, between that and the recent epiphany that the scum have no reason to keep attention-attracting innos around since there is no CF, I'm thinking of switching to Silanah.

I'm here, but I don't have anything to add at the moment. I'm sorta waiting for some responses to last night's shenanigans and the questions brought up this morning.

I did do my customary exercise of trying to write down the names of all the players I knew to be playing and basically ranking them in my suspicions, and there were two I had to go and check to see what alt they were: Galain and Tennes. I'd forgotten these two were playing.

ah, this is also a good observation. Galain I've not responded to once I think.. I didn't pay attention to him at all..

Tennes to a lesser extent, but still..

See, this is why I've stated in the past that no cf is quite a handicap for the killers too. No way for them anymore to clear their names.

Well, the defending-an-inno bit I agree, that's how I got on Silanah's back in the first place.

Actively blocking the lynch of an inno knowing he will keep us entertained another day, it's more subtle. Normally it's good for scum, but without the CF there are advantages both ways, so I guess it depends on the scum mentality and approach of the game. That's why I'm still not 100% convinced and would prefer, at least now, to go after those who created the situation more than the one they created the situation around.

Then again, if guilty, those that created the situation are more probably symps, while if guilty, the one they created the situation around is more probably killer.

Hmmm.

okay i just got caught up and tbh this is a load of bs. a fucking coin? you're kidding me, telas; waiting for you to pick a side and do something here. the fact that silanah's train derailed that is interesting - is he a killer, then? taking out 2 people on d'riss' train would be a good decision; i'm guessing they either signalled or simply came to the same conclusion.

i'm keeping my suspicions in reserve on d'riss, but at this point i'm more focused on either silanah or telas. it's possible the killers could have somehow managed to predict this reaction to frame silanah, but telas has nothing available so far to defend himself. accordingly,

vote telas

@omtose: curiously, i don't remember any of your posts to begin with. =/
(before today, that is)

It took me some time to catch up, so I have to go work now for a bit.

My vote on Telas is serious, his behavior at the deadline adds to all his posts yesterday that I quoted together.

Still, there might be a better candidate, I'll check when I come back.

As for Anomandaris, I don't see why he freaked out like this. Korlat says the truth when he says that a good symp will never point to his masters, there is no pedantry in that. Whether you conclude that Korlat is saying that to cover his mistake or not, that's part of the game.

I want to respond to this while I am catching up. I got pissed because Korlat was being a major dickbag all of yesterday, and instead of explaining why a good symp never points to his masters, he was pretty much acting like Kas was a fucking idiot for not already knowing. It was unnessecary and just fucking mean. Sure Korlat can give me all the crap he wants, but there is no need to not be mature and explain a simple mechanic. If he acted like that to a noob in the book forums he would have at least been warned. But here, its accepted. I don't like it, and never will.

@ Tennes:

I'm not surprised - I haven't been someone who has been around at certain points as my home internet is broken thanks to ***kom. And I haven't been someone who has been at the centre of any of the controversies to this point.

My point on you wasn't a criticism, I was just mentioning the people I couldn't remember. It helps me figure out any people I may be overlooking for my scum table. Although you didn't have a vote on anyone at day end?

I agree that Sil should have been hammered, and telas may very wel have been symping him. Also I agree that Fener may have been scum on the other team, and tried to protect a fellow scum member. His actions of trying to divert the attention away from Sil and onto Driss were pretty obvious. Having said that I think this is the right way to proceed.

Vote Silanah

To finish what we started yesterday.

There are 0 hours and 0 minutes left in Day 1.

These are alive: Anomandaris, D'riss, Emurlahn, Fener, Galain, Galayn Lord, Gamelon, Kaschan, Kessobahn, Korlat, Mockra, Omtose, Rashan, Serc, Silanah, Telas, Tennes

9 votes to lynch, 9 for night.
Votes:

7 for Silanah - Rashan, Gamelon, Korlat, Galayn Lord, Serc, Anomandaris, D'riss
2 for Korlat - Omtose, Telas
5 for D'riss - Silanah, Kessobahn, Emurlahn, Kaschan, Fener
1 for Telas - Mockra

Night is here.

Is that right? I think its right. Let me know if it isn't, but it dosen't appear you lynched anyone so it dosen't matter.

@ Tennes - looks like Sil was at L-2 without your vote.

btw while rereading the couple posts following the one i linked, i just realized i never responded to what d'riss said before:

@d'riss: i explained the case a few posts before that, mostly referencing other peoples' posts regarding the korlat incident and general meta. that is, someone with inno interests in mind (as opposed to being a symp) would attempt not to push that apparent "reveal" into light but rather to cover it up. i think your response to it has been scummy.
i'd get quotes but (1) i'm lazy (2) i should be working, but my lack of work is a product of (1).

then why was telas thinking about hammering? i figured it was l-1 at some point and someone switched before day ended.

Just did a quick look, and Obdi is correct, wasn't a lynch was one short. Telas had voted then pulled his vote after Silanah put forward his case on D'riss.

You know there is something about Telas I don't like there's been a few small things that seem to be mounting up against him now. I'm not sure if its enough to vote for but I am interested to hear from him.

Could someone recap the case on Silanah? To be honest I'm haven't thought there was anything in it, but a recap would be nice.

Its tempting to vote Galayn Lord, not sure what it is, but I am getting scum from him. Actually rather symp from GL. Yesterday he pushed the Silanah case, today first thing he's moved onto Telas, but happy to switch if Telas doesn't go anywhere.

Just wanting to bring it up a GL's gone a little unnoticed so far.

Trouble is I have so many other suspects... Rashan, Omtose, Telas spring to mind as well.

Well I am all caught up and it seems obvious that Telas is a symp. I am going to stick with what I was going off of yesterday and say that he is symping Silanah.

Vote Silanah

emurlahn, my vote was placed several hours before silanah's case; unless someone else switched to silanah between telas' flip-flop and silanah's death, silanah is now dead.

Let me check, I believe someone had voted silanah, then removed before the final vote on silanah, regardless of your posting Tennes.

PS - good luck doing this retarded vote jumping in the next game.

That is all.

Interesting, if Silanah is dead we can vote Telas and cover all the angles :sofa:

I may have missed it, but I'm pretty sure we were working off Feners vote count, which included your vote thats where we got our numbers from.
