It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

Somebody's gotta explain the cat love. I think it started with Abyss, but am not sure.

CATS

What's the deal with all the cat avatars and shite?

Fundamentally, the internet exists for two things - pr0n and pictures of cats. And pr0n isn't apropriate on this site.

Aside from that, back in the day about four forumflushes ago, there was a limited set of avatars easily available and the one i selected was a smiling-cat thing. Then i casually mentioned one day that everything important i have learned about life i have learned by eating the brainz of smarter people and absorbing their knowledge.

Curiously, this was well received by the forumites and the rest is history. or something. Someone picked an arguement about cats vs dogs that the cats utterly dominated and then of course there were lolcats... I dunno, i'm pretty sure i was drunk...

What about Bacon, Beer, Rep, and Wolverine that blame Brood for IADMAITTTIS?

The update is coming. Bogged down in Dolorous Menhir posts.

Edit: Our search system is horrific.

This post has been edited by HoosierDaddy: 10 March 2009 - 05:31 AM

Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Aptbyss/Abtorian

Are Abyss and Aptorian the same person?

Short answer, 'no'.

Long answer, the cloning experiment went horribly, horribly, wrong.

Is it just my eyes failing but isn't there a Brood II running around here somewhere we can now blame for everything? I'm a firm believer in placing blame where it belongs.
If your cat wasn't meant to fly, why wouldn't they make them bigger?

That would be Dancer. Strange, for some reason he disappeared just after making the namechange.
I think the Curse of the Brood got him.
