REP!
What is this Rep thing that everyone keeps talking about?
It is a simple way to say: “I agree”, “nice post”, and “funny!”, or “Dumb”, “trolling”, and “spam”.
How it would be used:

6 months in, I totally miss it. I thought at the time it was no big deal, but I seriously miss having rep. The recent flamewar in the Pics Thread made me realize how much negrep and re-repping there would have been as a result. Just some extra fun on the site.

You imbibe HP sauce to replenish your hit points. I mean, honestly, it's like you never played a RPG before.

- Abyss, has no idea what you're talking about... really... (rolls d20 to convince you)
Bemoaning of the loss of Rep and witchery attempting to get it back:
Oh, hai! I’m Rep! I am like crack to members! Too bad you can’t have me!
Failed attempt. People are still sane.
Failed attempt. People are hopeful.
Big poll on the subject. Much philosophizing and agonizing. Statistics prove that 94/160 voters should be beaten with a large stick (in my opinion of course!).
Cracks are showing in facades… we all grieve.
WOLVERINE!
No matter the fight, the correct answer to “Who Would Win” or “Who Is More Powerful” is always: Wolverine

blasphemy. Wolverine has faced swords before. Whoever this upstart 'Magik' (gay name btw) is, he would eviscerate her if he was so inclined. It is known.

Going a bit offtopic here, but I remember bits and pieces of the new mutants slipping into the danish x-men comics. That girl, english name is apparently Magik, was hella strong. Like "cut her way through swaths of demons and then chop down skyscraper size super demon lords before lunch" strong. She was sort of mix between that DC character Raven and Dassem Ultor. Died though last I heard, then Collosus got her back and she died again or something like that. Anyway the point is Wolverine would still kick her ass
And Magneto would kick wolverines ass, so the answer is that mages beat swordfighters

Blah blah kill kill big budget...
So given that how would you go about offing the following:
1. Karsa Orlong
2. Apsalar
3. Laseen
4. Iccarium
5. Rake
KARSA
Drown him. Set up an elaborate yet simple trap and then drop him somewhere he can't just swim out of.
APSALAR
She's good. She's very, very good. Like 300 Claw worth of good. Wait until she's in her drunk/denial stage, place otataral in close proximity and then casually mention to the Claw that she's there. Tell them to bring munitions. If you eliminate her shadow magic she's just a phenomenal killer, but vulnerable.
LASEEN
Tell Mallick Rel he could do a better job.
Fundamentally, Laseen is an excellent assassin, but isloate her and send in a better fighter(s) and she's done.
ICARIUM
Anonymously kill his watcher in front of him and then get the fuck out of dodge. Stay away until he's exhausted himself wiping out two or three civilizations. Then come back and chop him up into tiny pieces before he can start keening again. Start with the head.
The problem is, as seen in DG, even unconcscious, Iccy has a survival reflex that can KILL a LOT. Sure, Dejim took him down, but we don't know whether he could have finished the job. I suspect Iccy falls into the class like SIlch inthe MT prologue - he could be completely at your mercy and still hard to kill.
RAKE
Ummm... dragon pile-on? Crap, I got nothing...
- Abyss, notes as an aside all you need to do is sic Wolverine on them. All at once. Drunk.

And lest we overlook, Karsa's got a built in resistance to magic that gives him an edge. Presumably, Mappo hasn't been just bopping Iccy on the head with his fist all this time, but actually walloping him with his mightymace . Icarium seems to need to get a good start to REALLY lay waste. There's a reference in HoC to a former companion, a Thelomen, knocking him out even as he trashed the Azath House where the Jaghut tree now stands.
So he's skillful and powerful, and eventually devastating, but not unstoppable at all times.
Hence, Karsa nailed him fast enough.
Which isn't to say that if Karsa had stabbed him and not killed him outright, he might not have gone ape****e and killed Karsa, Mappo, and most of 7C.
- Abyss, when in doubt, votes that Wolverine would kick both their asses.

Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....
