I think Illy posted this same thing in another thread earlier this week. In any case somethng of this level of awesomeness is worth seeing again! It's like a little bit of heaven for us bacon lovers!

Bacon and beer breakfast of champions, and the breakfast of choice for the Abyssmal Army!

Bacon’s only nemesis.

Beer is just a carbonated drink that doesn't taste as good as most sodas and doesn't get you nearly as drunk as most liquors.

Bacon is the only meat that tastes awesome when crunchy.

Bacon!

i vote BACON! i say a man is not a man unless he eats bacon at least once a day! i could not live my life without it.

yet neither could i live without alchol but as i drink cider i can easily live without beer:p

Bacon. Simply because if you have bacon without beer its nice. A night out on beer can only be remediedby bacon

Bacon ftw

An attempted subversion of the love of bacon.

View PostHumperdinck, on Mar 5 2009, 12:06 PM, said:

What is the big hub-ub about Bacon? All it is is fried (to a crisp, generally) pig. I would much rather have a nice slice of properly cooked ham, or a steak. Maybe even chicken.

Steak > Bacon
Ham > Bacon
Chicken > Bacon
Lamb > Bacon
Cheesecake > Bacon
Sourpatch Kids > Bacon
Whiskey > Bacon

If you want to clog your arteries, eat a cheesesteak and fall in love with true food.

Bacon is pointless when you can have much better meat. It makes nothing better, in fact it reduces the quality of every other meat it could be eaten with or compared too.

A Pox Upon Bacon, and Bacon-Lovers. Pigs are delicious, bacon is not. Crunchy meat = overcooked and pointless.

That is all.

BEER of course you cant even compare the two: one is food the other is liquid pleasure

You can drink beer all day and be intoxicated even longer

You can eat bacon for what 15 minutes before you get sick, and then your just full....

I use to not like the taste of beer RLYacht, then after a year of drinking it straight one day it just started tasting good, and then it got even better... and now it is perhaps the most delicious creation man has ever made

What is this Rep thing that everyone keeps talking about?

It is a simple way to say: “I agree”, “nice post”, and “funny!”, or “Dumb”, “trolling”, and “spam”.

How it would be used:

Thirded!

Umm, i mean, ^ NERDS!

- Abyss, has no idea what you're talking about... really... (rolls d20 to convince you)

Bemoaning of the loss of Rep and witchery attempting to get it back:

Oh, hai! I’m Rep! I am like crack to members! Too bad you can’t have me!
Failed attempt. People are still sane.
Failed attempt. People are hopeful.
Big poll on the subject. Much philosophizing and agonizing. Statistics prove that 94/160 voters should be beaten with a large stick (in my opinion of course!).
Cracks are showing in facades… we all grieve.

WOLVERINE!

No matter the fight, the correct answer to “Who Would Win” or “Who Is More Powerful” is always: Wolverine

blasphemy. Wolverine has faced swords before. Whoever this upstart 'Magik' (gay name btw) is, he would eviscerate her if he was so inclined. It is known.

View PostAptorian, on Mar 5 2009, 03:58 PM, said:

Going a bit offtopic here, but I remember bits and pieces of the new mutants slipping into the danish x-men comics. That girl, english name is apparently Magik, was hella strong. Like "cut her way through swaths of demons and then chop down skyscraper size super demon lords before lunch" strong. She was sort of mix between that DC character Raven and Dassem Ultor. Died though last I heard, then Collosus got her back and she died again or something like that. Anyway the point is Wolverine would still kick her ass :p

And Magneto would kick wolverines ass, so the answer is that mages beat swordfighters :)

So given that how would you go about offing the following:

1. Karsa Orlong
2. Apsalar
3. Laseen
4. Iccarium
5. Rake

KARSA

Drown him. Set up an elaborate yet simple trap and then drop him somewhere he can't just swim out of.

APSALAR

She's good. She's very, very good. Like 300 Claw worth of good. Wait until she's in her drunk/denial stage, place otataral in close proximity and then casually mention to the Claw that she's there. Tell them to bring munitions. If you eliminate her shadow magic she's just a phenomenal killer, but vulnerable.

LASEEN

Tell Mallick Rel he could do a better job. :p
Fundamentally, Laseen is an excellent assassin, but isloate her and send in a better fighter(s) and she's done.

ICARIUM

Anonymously kill his watcher in front of him and then get the fuck out of dodge. Stay away until he's exhausted himself wiping out two or three civilizations. Then come back and chop him up into tiny pieces before he can start keening again. Start with the head.

The problem is, as seen in DG, even unconcscious, Iccy has a survival reflex that can KILL a LOT. Sure, Dejim took him down, but we don't know whether he could have finished the job. I suspect Iccy falls into the class like SIlch inthe MT prologue - he could be completely at your mercy and still hard to kill.

RAKE

Ummm... dragon pile-on? Crap, I got nothing...

- Abyss, notes as an aside all you need to do is sic Wolverine on them. All at once. Drunk.

View PostAbyss, on Jun 28 2005, 05:57 AM, said:

And lest we overlook, Karsa's got a built in resistance to magic that gives him an edge. Presumably, Mappo hasn't been just bopping Iccy on the head with his fist all this time, but actually walloping him with his mightymace ™. Icarium seems to need to get a good start to REALLY lay waste. There's a reference in HoC to a former companion, a Thelomen, knocking him out even as he trashed the Azath House where the Jaghut tree now stands.

So he's skillful and powerful, and eventually devastating, but not unstoppable at all times.

Hence, Karsa nailed him fast enough.

Which isn't to say that if Karsa had stabbed him and not killed him outright, he might not have gone ape****e and killed Karsa, Mappo, and most of 7C.

- Abyss, when in doubt, votes that Wolverine would kick both their asses. Posted Image

Thanks for the initial response. I didn't know this forum had a maximum "quote" level. I'll do some fooling around with this tomorrow (when I'm less drunk), but obviously I'm working on a minimalist basis. Recommendations are most certainly welcome and invited.

Edit: This is based completely (as far as I know) around our newest digs. I couldn't do this with the old forum still in play, it'd be too hard to do.

'Why is that?'
The Imass leaned his head to one side and regarded her. 'Because, Adjunct, they are sheeple.'

Think of what Dolorous Menhir's favourite phrase is.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Although, I'll get to add quotes from Brood's self-inflicted sappy swan song, so that will be at least humorous.
