It might be old, but for me it's Feather Witch and the Errant (Altho the Errant got a little better when he killed Feather Witch)

+ I agree with Apt on the first page, I really hate that Lethari duo.

Just remembered, I didn't like Hands in RotCG. Always saying, "No swearing." For God's sake woman!

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

I found Mayen in MT to be annoying and a bit of a scrutty ho' ( which is normally a good thing ). There were a lot of characters in MT and RG that I found easy to dislike,

Feather witch ( just annoying)
Rhulad ( Whiney Emo bitch, who gets what he deserves)
The triumvirate of bastardry that was Triban Gnol, Karos Invictad and Tanal Yathvanar,
Redmask ( Initially cool,....what a let down)

Throughout the series though, I genuinally hated Bidithal and thought Clip was a complete tool.
Now all the friends that you knew in school they used to be so cool, now they just bore you.
Just look at em' now, already pullin' the plow. So quick to take to grain, like some old mule.

Korbolo Dom to start. He needs to be flayed, an inch at a time.
The Warlock King, Hannan Mosag. Prick.
Douche that left a goblet of poisoned wine just laying there for Brys to drink.
The Redeemer. Poor Itkovian.

Someone mentioned Hands. I agree.

Nait put that bitch in her place, though.

Hands was the woman of Nait's dreams. Loved that plot device, it gave both characters depth :p

Anyway, I love to hate Clip.

I pretty much dislike up to hating Feather Witch, Mayen, Felisin, Ghelel, Stonny Menackis, Shimmer, Apsalar since the end of tBH, Korbolo Dom, Bidithal, Rhulad pre coin incident, Triban Gnol and the other two of this triumvirate, and I used to dislike Kruppe, but for some reason I found him not annoying at all in TtH. What I can definately say is that SE and ICE write female characters pretty awful sometimes, I don't like more than half of them.

Puck was not birthed, she was cleaved from a lava flow and shaped by a fierce god's hands. - [worry]
Ninja Puck, Ninja Puck, really doesn't give a fuck..? - [King Lear]

She certainly was :p Well, I expressed it a bit unfitting and now it sounds like I don't like the way she's written. She was written well, I just didn't like reading about her.

Ι never thought of Rhulad as emo
He's tragic, realistic, interesting and maybe the only character in MBotF who doesnt need to be described as a "badass" to be a great character.

Rhulad Sengar's story is imho one of SE's greatest concepts

I agree, its tough to label him as whiny also. The dude dies many, many times and is in unbelievable torment the whole time.

He wasnt one of my fav characters, but he is damn interesting to read.

Talk to some whiney, shoe gazing emo-goth whose reading Sylvia Plath....,

Ask how many times they've "died" that day ! ;)

To be fair Rhulad is a well written character who you do feel sympathy for.

However I just wish one of his bro's had given him a proper slap, knocked some of that adolescent injustice out of him. :)

The leper Karsa dragged with him into Rarakuru (the once slavemaster) annoying before he became crippled, and that didnt really help him out as a character

Skulldeath - I do not believe he managed it (Oh Lady Envy grab my balls ;) )

Raest (as "servant" of the Azath) - That Jhagut seriously needs a puzzle from Tehol

Raest? - How can you not like a dry uberslave who craves the companionship of a dead cat and names it Tufty! :(

If were talking characters we love to hate - gotta be Dom, Rel, Bidithal and the Lether Muppets. Well deserving of being covered in honey, staked to the ground and left for the ants.

Yeah, Crone could be annoying.

The Grey Swords irked me a little. Always calling people sir.

Crone? Really?? :unworthy: Awwww.....I ADORED her! She was such a cryptic representative for Rake and Brood, and she was so sarcastic to them both. It really cracked me up- and also the way that they both made snide remarks about her. I just pictured her in my mind- the way that birds can look like they're always laughing. :D And her moody but portentious exchanges in GotM with Baruk (who I'm also a huge fan of)....just loved it!

Who I utterly despise though: Lasseen! And finally, VENGEANCE has been exacted! :D

I also don't get the Karsa thing- he really annoyed me, though I came to appreciate him a little more in the end.

man I agree with all of this wholeheartedly. Its like we are reading the same books... :p

I always found Heboric annoying....there is something about him that really grinds my gears. Felisin elder was annoying as well, she was wayy to whiny.
sometimes I wonder if the gift of revelation, of discovering the means underlying humanity, offers nothing more then the devastating sense of futility, it is the ignorant who find cause and cling to it, for within that lies the illusion of significance-steven erikson.

The Seguleh as a race...

They have such arrogance above everything...they think that the world is dominated by nothing but structure and the sword...

I would've LOVED to see the Edur roll into the stupid Seguleh island with one of their big ass chaos rituals and destroyed their whole civilization (minus the 1st because I wanna see him fight)...this would've happened if they werent locked into an ICE novel for the tyrant (right?)...

I doubt it. Remember, the Seggers have ways of finding mages. I'm sure they'd fine a way to negate the Edur.

The Mhybe she was such a whiner. She should be skinned alive, drained of blood, set on fire, decapitated and thrown off a mountain.

Wasn't fond of her!
