Given that this is the slow stretch in my time zone, I'll be on and off for the next five hours until I head to bed. There's 24 and House to be watched, after all ...

I don't expect much activity.

Here are two lynch scenes, I don't even remember if I already posted them, but I tweaked them for the smaller number of people:


EMURLAHN LYNCH SCENE:

The Monkey's rather pitiful cry affected none of the Pirates in their determination to finally be rid of the scampering little sodomizer. While pirates were far from the most hygenic folk, finding a boot full of monkey jizz was going to push even the most hard-bitten and filthy bucaneer over the edge.

Especially if the boot was pulled on first.

The confused simian hardly put up a fight - he and the rope were old friends, as its stickiness could atest
to. Surely it wouldn't hurt - snap! ghrrrkkk. The First Mate poked the tiny body after a moment, then shrugged and turned away. "I don't suppose the little boot-fucker had a stash of stolen gold?" he asked, not real hopeful about a response. But as it turned out, the scrambling plank poker had a bit of the hard and shiny stolen away, for the Pirates to divy up.

The Pirates split the gold evenly, with a bit of careful eyeing to see if anyone accidentally gave away how much anyone else was adding to, but without any luck, and went back to their drinking, plotting, vomiting, and buggering.

Emurlahn (Obdigore) is Dead; he was the Shit-Flinging Monkey; he had 25 gold.

D'RISS LYNCH SCENE:

In the middle of the arguing, one of the Pirates casually leaned against a deck gun, and jumped away (well, more of a staggering lurch, really), as the massive piece of iron shifted slightly.

"Hey! This thing's unsecured!"

He peered blearily closer.

"And it's loaded! It could go off at any second!"

The on-deck chatter suddenly halted, everyone understanding the danger a loaded, unsecured cannon sitting unattended on deck could cause, not to mention the OSHA regulations that it violated - why, they could be in for some hefty fines. The First Mate was the first to hurry over, not wanting to explain this to their insurer.

"Well, let's just push it over. I sure as hell don't want to try to disarm it, and it's probably just dead weight at this point." Others nodded, and ignoring the heartbroken howls of the monkey, promptly and competently shoved the massive lump of black-powder and shot filled iron over the side.

A massive splash, and the cannon slowly sank out of sight, with nothing more to mark the end of a timeless love between simian and weapon than a few bubbles of air and a bit of dried monkey shit that bobbed on the waves.

D'riss (Masterblue) is dead, he was the 24lb. Cannon, a Pirate (OK, kind of), and had no gold.

Also, I decided to get a little ahead on my own game (40.5). I sent this to grief at first, but I figured there's no harm in posting the scene:

I leaned back in my leather recliner and yawned. This was one boring job. Sitting around, eating donuts, occasionally jerking it when no one was watching, and watching a bunch of prisoners sit around for hours on end. Not exactly in that order. I sipped at my 7-11 Pepsi Slurpee and glanced to the rows of monitors stacked upon one another. Little was of interest: a pair of idiotic guards lounged, ignoring their duty. A few scary-looking guys pounded each other in the prison courtyard, along with that fucked-up doctor who came in a few weeks ago.
Movement on the screen captured my attention and I turned toward a monitor leading to the outer gates. A group of guards were gathered about some hippie. Curious, I fiddled with the controls and zoomed in on the face.
Jaw dropped.
“Holy fuck, that guy needs a haircut!” I exclaimed. Brown hair ran halfway down his back, working in tandem with something like a toga to cover a wiry frame.
Guards, armed, shoved the man back and forth before pushing him against the back of the car. One handcuffed him and another searched through the trunk. I flipped on the sound and squinted at the unfolding scene.
“Fellows, fellows, I believe this can be settled in a more peaceful manner,” said the hippie.
“Fucking pothead,” one guard muttered. “Must be too high right now to have any clue what’s going on.”
“I beg of you, do not commit these sins. You’re making a mistake!”
Another guard chortled and turned to his companion rummaging through the trunk. He asked, “Hey, did you find anything?”
“You fucking bet I did!” he said. He emerged from the trunk and produced a bag, bulging at the seams with weed. “This guy’s fucking loaded! Well, I think we can check off a couple offenses…possession with intention to sell, driving under the intoxication, not having a god-damn haircut—”
The hippie gasped. “Oh no you didn’t—”
“Shut up,” the guard said, pimp-slapping the hairy guy into the car. “You disgust me, you know that? Relying on drugs to make your pitiful life more bearable…I want to throw up.”
The hippie said, “Oh! That’s what they’re for! This guy came and told me they were for stimulating the spirit and soul! I swear!”
A guard laughed. “That’s what they all say. Come with me, you’re going to jail. Oh, hey, look—that’s where we are right now.”
Despite futile struggle, the hippie was dragged through the prison’s gates. I snorted and leaned back in my recliner. Maybe it was time to make being a prison warden more interesting. I hit the radio button and dialed one of the guards within.
“Hey, figure out some way to pretend you’re a prisoner. Maybe we could fuck with these guys a bit—I’m getting bored, you know?”
“I’ve been waiting for you to say that!” the guard replied. “Sounds good—first thing tomorrow morning. Over.”
I let go of the transmission button and grinned.
This was going to be fun.

What I didn’t know was that someone else among the prisoners had a different kind of fun in store…

Tactical error by D'riss/Masterblue there - it was quite obvious that Galayn Lord had at least 65 gold from her reaction to Galain getting Vigged - that way he'd actually have the majority of the gold, but as it is there's no way for the cannon to win .

Keep in mind that if people choose to Kill each other at Night, they both succeed and the gold goes to no-one - it's just lost to the game. So if GL and someone both target one another ... oh, fuck, there'll be tie (Emurlahn and D'riss will both have 25, if neither is lynched).

Wait! It'll be a tie between the Monkey and the Cannon! That will be ... awesome. My purpose in life will be fulfilled just writing the scene for that. Shame the odds of it happening are low.

that totally fucked our team over, i know you guys like to have fun and all but seriously, we were do pretty fucking well until serc and telas got fucking outted by a fucking sock puppet. what the fuck? and the amount of spam and shit rp at the start of that game was fucking horrendous. why only let players comms at night if night is six hours? it always fell when i was in bed.

plus i knew silanah was first mate one ja died because you didnt alphabetise the names i sent you a pma saying that and you should have done it, you had the four ninjas at the bottom. then morgo45 decides to tell eveyrone on modcraft how i am a sneaky fucker in the game over on malaz, to say that this game went to shit in my mind was a fucking understatement.

on the plus side, idf you took out the two sock puppets that game would have been alright.

kudos to korlat - i wouldnt have posted as much if that was my role, i probably wouldnt have posted at all.

whyw as i the ninja master if i couldnt kill during the day, i was the only nk player in the game?? thought this was meant to be a blodd btah, you have two roles specifically to block night actions ???

the gold mechanic worked alright, but surprised no one figured it out earlier.
