Not sure how that relates to Skinner. My guess is that the Second has faced Toblakai in the distant past, hence he has heard the war cry before.

A friend took my book WITHOUT ASKING before I had a chance to reread, but I thought that Kyle thought Skinner to be a Teblor? Or huge, can't rightly remember.

Also, the 2nd's dislike of Skinner. Caused me to add 2 + 2 together and brought me to ask the question and see whether there could be a consensus on it.

Aptorian. Are you 100% sure that it hasn't and why.

First, Skinner isn't a Teblor or anything like it. He's just an avowed human being.

Second, not everything that the 2nd does or says is automatically connected with Skinner.

Third, why would it have any connection when no such thing has ever been hinted at before.

Fourth, it is connected to wolverine.

It would seem the Second is capable of being humbled.

Something I've always wondered-the Second is much more vocal than other Seguleh. Is that because he's dead and maybe insane?

So that would eliminate some of the possibilities for his hatred of skinner right? Like if we were speculating that he had been killed by Skinner. So it seems he has been dead for a very long time. Am I wrong to assume that they went isolationist a long time ago?

I am no sure if it is supposed to be a threat, like you say, or is it supposed to mean "I hope I never hear it again". English is not my native language, but it seems to me both interpretations are possible.

Both are indeed possible, but context tells us it's more likely the second was actually humbled. He heard the cry before. Saw the awful consequences of it... he knows... he doesn't want to relive it.

Actually I think that I have my own memory a bit confused. Yes, the seguleh probably died a long, long time ago.

We know he's old because he remembers a time long ago when the seguleh lived in Darujistan. He speaks of the children of the Tyrant, etc.

But I think he remembers them as being fanatical already back then. He may simply be an off-shot of them, like Rell.

So fanatical, yes. Isolationist, no.
