EDIT: Before some smartypants points it out, no they're not quite perfect squares. I cropped it out of an even bigger grid.

EDIT: I think Apt's edit was after my post...:p Unless I missed it the first time around.

Don't look now, but I think there's something weird attached to the bottom of my posts.

I count 5 so far, and I'm the sixth.

Calculus is hard. Is this a derivative?
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Because you can make another square with 4 individual squares, and so forth...

Well, you can do 13x13 single squares, 12x12 with 4 squares, 11x11 with 9 squares and so on, and if you sum the squares from 1 to 13 you get 819. Hence my answer.

Perhaps a headache is the collective noun for squares?

Isn't 12x12 a little high for the 4 squares? Looks more like 6? Is what you are doing just 13!?

Shouldn't it be 13 squared, 6.5 squared, etc?
