Ever play American football with American players?

They are the only people you can play it with, as has been previously pointed out, no one else plays it ! ;)
( Other than the 12 Global sporting superpowers mentioned.)
Now all the friends that you knew in school they used to be so cool, now they just bore you.
Just look at em' now, already pullin' the plow. So quick to take to grain, like some old mule.

That was baseball.

How can someone who has never played it, been impacted in a game, know what the hell hurts more? It makes no sense (which, generally is the rule in this thread, but it can only go so far).

I hate this thread, and I get away from it, then here comes Joe-Blow-Rugby (and inexplicably euro-football) Guy: "oi, guv'nor, bloody rugby would bugger american football in the arse you nansy pansy non-tea drinking limey bastards!"

@Mac: How else can you judge without playing both, which is "tougher" or requires "harder" players?

Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Was it? I do apologise. Without me having to go back through the thread, cos' this question has probably popped up already, how many other countries have a national gridiron team worth a crap ?

Also sorry to be pedantic but i'm pretty sure us Brits are " ..limey bastards !"
You lot are "..nansy pansy non-tea drinking yank bastards!" ;)

Well you have my most heartfelt sympathy, it is I gather a most greivous affliction.

For your info the term "limey" comes from The British Navy and refers to the use of lime juice as an antiscorbutic by sailors trying to fight off scurvy.

'Tell me, Tool, what dominates your thoughts?'
The Imass shrugged before replying. 'I think of Mafia, Adjunct.'
'Do all Imass think about Mafia?'
'No. Few think at all.'
'Why is that?'
The Imass leaned his head to one side and regarded her. 'Because, Adjunct, they are sheeple.'

Sometimes I wonder, "Why is that frisbee getting bigger?" ... and then it hits me.
