oh pulease.

That is horsehit of the highest level.
Put almost any middle linebacker in and scare th eshit out the other team?
Read that statement again, its ridiculous, with a capital Q

It has nothing to do with money, if it was, there would be no good rugby players, they'd all be in the nfl, being superior men and all that.

It has to do with americans loving the idea that mass = hardness.
It dsoes not, naturally built muscle wins nearly everytime over protien enhanced douchebags. Pound for pound Van damme is far stronger than most tanked up action stars, because his bulk is pure muscle, not muscle with loads of protien hammered on top of it for size.

pah, I spit in your general direction

I agree "the shit" should be separated not together as one word. :p

Mac Please tell me that you didn't bring Van Damme into this conversation.... The man got his ass handed to him by Chuck Zito inside of Scores. Have you seen a middle line backer????? They don't have tons of Mass Check out some Ray lewis highlights or go and Watch what happens when someone goes across Brian Urlacher.
How many fucking people do I have to hammer in order to get that across.

hes supposed to be intimidating?
the shitty shaking camera effect scared me more, infact, Hetfield's voice is more intimidating on that video.
Ray Lewis? I eat pieces of shi.............wait, not going to get caught there.
Again, take him out those pads, make him stand up on the field for a full game, he ain't gonna be such a big man. They're impact players, short stints for the most, not a hard solid gruelling soul grinding heart bustinginsert more words hereing full games.
Silly sport, played by silly people, watched by sillier people and only majorly syndicated in a silly nation

Obviously you haven't seen the Bears offense play. Pitiful just pitiful. Brian and the defense are on the field for most of the game every single game. When the Ravens won the super bowl. You didn't want their defense to be on the field, Cause the defense scored more points then the offense.
How many fucking people do I have to hammer in order to get that across.

Most people would agree an NFL linebacker is probably the best example of a perfect athlete in american sports. The perfect blend of size, speed, strength, agility, etc.

They would DOMINATE rugby.

I dont expect you to admit it, i wouldnt, i'd stand up for my sport.

But it is the sad, sad truth.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

Wow, they were on the field most of the game? How did they manage to stand still for a few minutes every 8 seconds and wait while the next play was planned out and both lines got set? Didn't they die of exhaustion?

They would fall over after 5mins because they have no stamina. I've seen americans play rugby. It's not pretty.

too sensible CI, you lend creedance to the belief that we consider this a real debate.

There is no debate, the pinnacle of an american athlete is someone who can eat 100 big macs

You bet your ass. I can only get to 68.

And the "breaks" between plays is part of whats known as strategy. See, you have to think and remember things. Not just run around like a goomba.

Dont you know one of the first signs your losing an argument is when you stop making points and start insulting people?

Perhaps you didn't see how the "argument" started.

If this were in another forum, I wouldn't be insulting people, there would be no arguement, comparing the two sports is pointless, because there is no definitive answer.
Its in the Inn, I thought everyone involved had figured that

Macros you've done a fine job holding the line...A near perfect blend of raw British logic backed up by hand-egg arse-kicking logic and a few well chosen insults and slurs. Godamnit! I want to adopt you...Son!

You know why American football is better than rugby? Because I said so, and if you don't like it my dad is going to beat up your dad.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....
