I've been through most of Canada and the northern States.

But I'm apparently freak amongst all you folks. I don't like travelling. There's really not anywhere I would like to go.

I've been to France (Nice and Cannes), Monaco, and Italy (Pisa, Florence, Assisi, Rome, Vatican City).

I'd like to see the rest of Europe, Russia, possibly a few places in South America, and the US.

in their fury, and so were cast out,

I've lived in Germany and the USA. Visited many small oddly shaped countries in that quaint little place whose name I can never remember. Oh wait, Europe, that's it. Visited Canada and Jamaica and many parts of the US.

I want to get back to Europe someday. Russia is high on the list of places to visit. Japan is up there too. Realistically speaking I intend to check out south america at some point.

I love travelling but I hate flying---I'm not one of the fortunate few who get to fly business or first---but I've done my faire share.

I've been to the Dominican Republic, Mexico, the US (Maine, Boston, Florida, New Orleans only a month before Katrina!), England (4 times and counting), Spain, Egypt. Oh yeah, and shopping in Burlington, Vermont! :)

I'd love to go back to New Orleans, I was only there for 5 days and there's so much I still want to see. Other than that I sooooo want to go to Italy, visit New Zealand, Hawaii, the Grand Canyon / Monument Valley, go on safari in Kenya / Tanzania, and see more of Canada too. The world is such a big and wonderful place, really, there's hardly anywhere I wouldn't want to go...except maybe a war zone, hehehe.

I've lived in the US and Japan. Traveled all over both places, (there are only 9 states I haven't spent at least one day in).

In order of most days spent there to the least days, I've been to England/Wales, France, Italy, Spain, China, Canada, Mexico.

I really want to go to Hong Kong, Singapore, Bali, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, S.Korea, Thailand. Also, Russia, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, Austria. Egypt, Turkey, Greece. <pant pant> OK! I just want to go wherever I can! I feel really undertraveled compared to most of you!

I live in France, and have been to various places in the country, though not much to the North Eastern part. I've mostly travelled in Europe : Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Germany, England, Ireland, The Netherlands, Belgium, Czech Republic (Prague only), Romania, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Russia and I think that's it. Then I've been a few times to the USA, and last yera I went to Mexico.
This year, I will go to Poland (for work, but I plan for staying a few days more) and maybe Canada (for the Worlscon I hope). I should also go to China for work, maybe next year.
As for the places I'd like to travel to, there are too many to name. To start with I'd like to go back to Mexico (I saw only a very tiny part of it), and Latin America. India, Egypt, Jordania, Turquia, are high on my list. As are Japan and China. It will all depend on opportunities I have.

Sultanate of Oman (home for 16 years), Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Singapore, Malaysia, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Morocco, Canaries, Gibraltar, Spain, Portugal, France, Holland, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, USA, Canada and England (home), about half of these on one of Her Majesty's big grey cruise ships with guns (ie a Royal Navy Destroyer).

As I have now succumbed to a complete fear of flying the places I really want to go are in europe, especially Italy (mmm food) and Scandinavia, because you can drive there.

Live in the UK.

Been to France, Germany, Holland, Czech Rep. Greece, Malta, Crete, Spain, Italy, Ireland, India, USA, Peru, Bolivia, Belize.

Best Travelling experience: Seeing the Parthenon, which was breathtaking I thought and walking in South America particulary staying in the Colca Canyon with some native indians.

Biggest Let down: it's between Macchu Pichu (feels really fake, since lots of it has been rebuilt kind of randomly and was really spoilt when my mate said to me " You realise the pub in the centre of Bury is older than this?) and Knossos (which had a similar problem of fakeness).

Live in Holland.

Have been to the UK (except Northern Ireland), Germany, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Malta, Czech Republic, Greece, Spain (well, Madrid only), Japan.

Want to go to: Italy, Hungary, Russia, Syria, Jordan, and would love to return to Japan.

Biggest wow-moment: Miho museum, cause it's both culturally magnificent and the location & architecture is jaw-droppingly gorgeous.

Let-down: sundays in Switzerland. Sneeze and your neighbours start complaining.

Haven't gone father than Fiji.

I'd like to go to South Africa, France and Norway to visit Apt.

Biggest wow: Hiking through a rainforest at dawn, then cresting a rise just as the sun comes up.

Biggest let down: Nothing much.

Just left the country for the first time in my life this past christmas. Spent 2 weeks in walking around Dublin, having my gf spend all my money on shoes. But had a hell of a good time, supposedly we're going to Italy in '10.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.
