I don't have RotCG available at the moment, so I just need my memory refreshed. What was the name of the place where K'azz was found? My memory tells me it was Jacuruku, but that's the place Kallor destroyed and K'rul turned into the Imperial Warren..

So.. does my memory decieve me or did ICE made a mistake about the Jacuruku part?
(please let it be my memory..)

No, you are quite correct, they found K'azz on Jacuruku.

K'rul scooped up the top layer or two, basically all the destroyed stuff and put that in the Imperial Warren. In the several millenia since Jacuruku itself has healed, forming new growth, trees, plants birds and bees etc.

Ah I see, that makes sense. Got a bit confused now that I'm re-reading MoI, since it seems like K'rul creates a warren for the whole continent.

That was the impression I got upon first reading it, I had to rack my brains to get it all straight!

I read MOI as the same thing but it became clearer in ROTCG

I think all the layers of destruction could have taken in some sky keeps as well. Some of the detritus in the Imperial Warren has probably been added to from Kallor's time as the Warren without an elemental has probably been contested since.

I wonder if it is possible for Hounds to exist for it? A throne? Does Krull make those or is it natural?

Sincerely
L'oric

This is just an FYI, but whill edoing a re-read of the bonehunters I noticed that after Mappo is healed he has a vision of Ardatta I think and they talk in an area that sounds just like the place with all the columns where kyle finds K'azz...or is it where cutter observes Leoman, Dunsparrow and the QOD talking. I will check tonight.

I have seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter at the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in the rain...."

It does seem similar.
And what the Imperial Warren may be is the warren of Kaschan, the K'Chain Che'Malle racial warren of gravity/sound/vibrations. It appears that what Krul did was remove all the devestation, and several layers below containing ruins etc, and either create a new Warren, or toss them into Kaschan.

As for the Hounds and Throne and so on, the Claw use the IW because it is lacking in such things. It has a few natives, presumably from the original Jacuruku or when/if it was Kaschan, but seemingly no Hounds, although it is entirely possible that if there is a Throne hidden somewhere, there would be Hounds.
One thing suggests it is missing a throne, though. Its a warren of ruin and desolation and ash, and if it was up for grabs, I suspect the CG would make a play for it instead of going for the fragment of Emurlahn in HoC.

If Thrones equal Hounds, then I would dearly love to see the Hounds of Tellan some day...

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

So is that (above) proof they exist?

I think it's more likely proof that they COULD exist in theory.
