OK, in that case, Night could be decisive. I guess I will trust in my leaders to have identified the opposing leaders since no one seems to want to break cover and make a case.

It looks like Day is going to time out anyway because no-one seems on to vote Night so I will leave voting till later if a train gets rolling on it since I should be around.

So why not vote for night then? Put your vote where your mouth is - that way if other people come on and see the position they might be tempted to join in and get this day over quicker. It's not like we're discussing anything.

Because despite everything, I still don't like the fact that the destiny of the game is basically out of my hands, hence my reluctance to vote Night

Be you BM or leader, you can still affect the game at night. The leaders' roles in this position are obvious, but in an evenly balanced situation, if you can take out the BMs from the other team to give your side an advantage, then you can make it so that the days are worth having again. So bringing on the night benefits everyone who actually wants to affect the games' outcome, as far as I can see.
