But your claim was before Fire was wiped out, when there were still three teams. Unless you somehow knew Fire was gonna get crushed in the night, the assumption should have been there might be a couple of kills like the first few night, and there would still be 3 factions in today, and if your reveal had helped to get two factions onto the third, it would be helping your team.

Wow, that was a brutual Night for Fire. Unfortunately that was all of my suspects gone as well I was thinking we'd be lynching Meanas today if he didn't die overnight.
Looking at what Ampelas has posted there. Omtose was one of the top posters early on wasn't he? In fact I'm pretty sure he was called out for posting so much and having so little content on Day 2.
Now it seems that he is either gotten busy or doesn't want to attract as much attention and reduced his posting. Its pretty weak though.
I agree about GL, but outside the Tennes thing I'm not sure what else there is. He's a high poster so being a little suspicious is natural I guess. But I'm not sure there is anything i'd hang a case or vote on.

I'm here. Just going over posts. Here is the HP Train
Emur Tennes, Serc, Meanas, Fener, Omtose, Shadow(who comes in after 5/6 votes have been placed on Tennes)
Here is the Tennes Train:
Gay Lord, Ruse, Telas ( who follows me again onto a train....), Emur, D'riss, Silanah, HP, Rashan, Liosan, Meanas, Omtose
Going to go see if there was any resistance to the Tennes train at any point.

I was just having a look back through all the low posters' posts and this one caught my eye. It could be completely innocent but, if you are in a suspicious state of mind like I am right now, it could be seen as a rather clever way to warn Telas about symping Ruse too obviously as if Ruse gets called on this post, he can just say "Why would I draw attention to the fact that Telas was following me?" and dismiss it that way.

Yeah, the problem about even the Tennes thing was that I think we decided that Tennes couldn't have been a leader because other members of his school voted for him or something.

there's absolutely no need to let the opposition leaders know that you're not on their team. Oppsing an enemy leader's curently the only way to ensure you don't live long.
honestly, I don't see the point in talikng much, anymore as all you can do is give more info about your faction to your enemy
game boils down to whose leaders are smarter with their NKs.
as such, I still think going to night is the best option we have right now.

Well, if you really want to, I suppose...

Slow day is slow because nobody is quite sure what to do. I suppose going to night is an option, but then it just turns into a slugfest between the leaders and I guess luck on the part of the 7ths.

what else do you suggest?
there's a several people I KNOW are on my team.
there may be 1-2 people i suspect are also with me, and i'd be reluctant to lynch them.
everyone else MAY be on my team, I have no clue if they are and I'd be shooting my team int he foot by voting them off 50% of the time.
Yes, i'm sure this is not the endgame DiBs envisioned, but there's almost 0 to be gained in open discussion anymore. Manouvering between teams gets us nowhere, since we're only 2 sides now and equally matched.
I hate not being able to do anything else for my team voting-wise, but them's the breaks.

Both explanations work.
I agree that going to night is a "risky" thing to do. It puts all your faith in your remaining leaders. But then, the game has come to that sort of point, hasn't it?

Its slow because of the mass killing we had last night and now with Fire gone and two evenly balanced teams more or less and no obvious suspects there is not much to go on.
I can't believe it, but I think GL might be on the right lines if we do go for Night, which would be really strange so late in a game but entirely appropriate for a mexican standoff game!

no, honestly, people, i'm wide open to suggestions.
currently there's one person im 90% sure is not with me.
yet i'm obviously not too eager to name them, since if they are a leader, i'm exposing myself and that weakens my team greatly. it is the only person I would vote for in this situation, but in bringing forth the name i could do much more harm than good, so i'm keeping it quiet.

Here then, is the issue: you will be giving up your leaders by voting for night.
How? Night is only 1 hour long. Do you want to risk your leader having only put in a provisional, and one that they may want to change, when they aren't on? So people would be trying to vote for night when their leaders are here, surely?

day is 36 hours long
I can wait till hte last hour for waiting to night to give everyone a chance to see what's been happening, I couldn't care less.
I don't make my leader(s)' decisions, but I would like the game to move forward.

How is that an issue Mockra? I don't think anyone was planning to speed lynch night through, I'd presume we'd have everyone check in before night got voted on.
Wouldn't want to use all 36 hours though, that could be depressing.

I agree on that, that would be rather slow
my point was rather that we've really gained all there was to gain from the regular discussion + lynches.

That's just my point.
What if your leader is not on when night falls? What if they're on now, and won't be when people on the other team vote for night? It all gives it away, and doesn't give enough time for people to plan stuff out. There could be accidental slips on-thread (I'll admit, unlikely, due to the lack of talking), or there could be other factors that come into play.
So, the thing is, then: You have to make sure your leader has been on, and the other team will want to go to night as soon as they've seen their leaders get on and understand the idea, right? Which can lead to outing your leader, which means that if the other leader does get on then your leader is toast.
