Well, I'd like to point out that I

voted Galain

a long time ago. Frankly, as of last time update there is still some time until day ends, so if I see a Galain train start to pick up speed again, I'll leave my vote there, because he's annoying, and if he is a leader, he's not mine. However, if that train dies, or the time runs out, I'll gladly hammer Kasch for ya. (He's not my leader either).

EDIT: Cross post with PS.

Thanks. I tried to post some earlier, but I had nothing ground breaking to contribute, and after reading through the earlier spam fest I had no interest in joining another. Therefore, I voted for the spam bot and left. I still like the idea of killing him, and if he isn't lynched I'd like to see him dead in the morning, the easiest way to get him killed is for 2 thirds to attack him, therefore, if he's a 1st, 3rd, or 7th he dies. If he's a black mask, he's useless anyways.

Someone mentioned before that two 3rd's cannot kill a 1st.

I'd rather let the discussion continue than drop the hammer (8 hours left still...) so I'll be back later. I haven't had a chance to really consider both cases.

yup, only 2 1sts or a 1st and a 3rd can kill a 1st.

1 First level segeluh (can be lynched, or killed by one first level seguleh and one Third or above)

*checks mail* Dammit you're right. I had talked with PS about this whole issue back when I was trying to figure out how the fuck the game works. He explained it as: if a seventh attacks a seventh, he's blocked. But if another seventh, or a black mask attacks as well, it will be kinda sneaky and will succeed in the kill. So yeah, I guess 2 thirds can't kill a first. Oops.

EDIT: crucial spelling error.

Just noticed this...Is this true?! I arrived later and assumed everybody saw the same rules I did :)

I'm not convinced that the point about Galain not knowing that firsts and thirds could communicate off thread is valid.

I didn't realise that until it was pointed out either, as I am pretty sure it wasn't in the game mechanics at the very start of the game and both he and I were on then, and I didn't have any reason to go back and look for changes. I could have been some sort of leader or not, and it would not have had an impact on whether I knew about it or not.

Well, that would have some interesting repercussions if the circumstances of Galain's danger were different, but I think the fact that he's an annoying spam bot who has only 33.333333% chance of having a useful role in my faction really supercedes that argument. Its simply a case of the rules being less than perfect. But its been fixed. glee. :(

I seem to remember reading a post from PS about how the rules had been modified...but they definitely said that 1sts and 3rds could communicate offthread by the time I came online...

Regarding the Galain/Kaschan stuff: I've made my choice and have come down on the side of voting for Kaschan...to be honest both Galain and Kaschan seem like viable lynches, but the Kaschan case convinced me first, and I don't see any point in switching over to Galain now, what with a lynch so close. Kaschan put forth a good defence, but the bottom line is that the evidence for Galain seems a little weaker, so my vote is going to stay where it is.

EDIT: Sorry for the triple post. I'm turning into Galain :)

Really cause 28 pages of discussion aren't enough day one chit chat for you. My eyes are still bleeding from the first 20 pages.

I don't give a crap about evidence on day 1. From what I saw, there is no conclusive evidence. What I have seen, is PS' last update on the first page. I'll transcribe it here, so everybody who doesn't think to check pg 1 can see it.

UPDATE - Actions do not occur at the same time, the order is top down so the First always acts first. If the first targets anyone not a first or third that person is guarded from action and unable to accept challenges thus healed.

..Hmm, still alive?

Why do some people "thank me" for my defense, while voting for me?

It was not a defense, it was an attack on Galain.

Like I said, I'm not fighting to stay alive just for fun (fuck knows I can't endure many days of this), but I saw something stronger than whatever is on me, since the main goal is to lynch the leaders as they are hard to NK.

Those who vote for me for "not being their leader" prove that they can read their own PM, nothing much else.

As for the arguments that Galain can't be a 3rd or 1st because he posted some confusion about parts of their role mechanics, don't make laugh.

You don't need to be a weasel to come up with that one :)

You shall be modless for a few hours. A reminder that night last just 1 hour. ONE HOUR only. If anybody is lynched act like night is already in effect.

It is day 1. You have 6.5 hours remaining

there are 24 players remaining. 13 to lynch, 12 to go to night.

12 votes for kaschan (tennes, shadow, galain, fener, kessobahn, meanas, liosan, serc, korlat, hoods path, ampelas, gamelon)
7 votes for galain (Galayn Lord, kaschan, silanah, ruse, mockra, telas, emurlahn)
1 vote for hoods path (thyrllan)
Only someone with this much power could make this many frittatas without breaking any eggs.
