Didn't the T'lan Imass destroy the FE?

The TI came shortly after the Ritual-gone-wrong turned loads of folks into Soletaken/D'ivers, and they proceeded to start killing all the shapeshifters since they were all going crazy. Obviously a ton escaped but the chaos from the shapeshifters, then the TI, then the ensuing chaos in the aftermath pretty much ended the empire.

Is Icarium going crazy added into one of those death knells for the empire?

hard to say what the timeline for icariums rage episode in that city. could have been anytime really, but from the description of the city mappo(?) gives in flashback the city appeared to be relatively at peace, perhaps it was before the ritual, perhaps after

There's some not-baseless speculation that Iccy blowin' up an Azath occurs synchronously with a warren being partially exploded by the Ritual as recalled by Treach. I forget what the evidence of Iccy possibly tying into it is. If so, though, he's have gone crazy on that city shortly thereafter I guess (maybe Heboric was wrong and that the destroyed T'lan Imass in the city didn't have any protection agreements, but rather were there because of the Ritual)...

treach died because kccm killed him.

Thing I want to ask now that people have read DoD, where do they think Fener will appear, if at all, in tCG? What is the deal with fener now? Does anyone think he is the God that Picker asked Karsa to kill in Darujhistan in TTH?

I doubt Karsa will have anything to do with Fener at this point. Last I remember the Errant had taken him in, and I'm sure the Errant will play a role in TCG, so that leads me to believe Fener will as well.

I'm not quite sure what Fener's purpose is at all right now, but maybe it has something to do with the jade statues? There seemed to be a relationship between those and the gods of war.

is this because all the Gods of war are converging? Or where do you get the relationship between them? I do remember the Errant having Fener, if it is plausable that Fener can be transported to Kolanse then isn't it also feasable he be transferred to Darujhistan? Or some other place that may put him in direct confrontation with Karsa?

Not sure if this would have anything of substance anymore, but i think i recall Rake stating (back in MOI, i think?) that Fener was highly instrumental, if not THE most important player, in the last chaining. Or was it the first Chaining? Sigh.....i just got done reading it like 2 weeks ago too......

Yeah this is true, he was instrumental, but also at the time he was God of War so maybe the torch has been passed to Treach or Togg and Fanderay to take over his place?
