EDIT: And no, I don't think there is any gayness subtext in WoT. It's just not there - RJ didn't put it there.

ROFL
Well...Not with the male characters, no. With the female characters; that's another story. One that's not even subtext...
If an opinion contrary to your own makes you angry, that is a sign that you are subconsciously aware of having no good reason for thinking as you do. If some one maintains that two and two are five, or that Iceland is on the equator, you feel pity rather than anger, unless you know so little of arithmetic or geography that his opinion shakes your own contrary conviction. … So whenever you find yourself getting angry about a difference of opinion, be on your guard; you will probably find, on examination, that your belief is going beyond what the evidence warrants. You need to change your avatar right now Terez. I'm going to start a petition if I have to :(

There is no gayness in DBZ, I watched your videos and you're just making things up. Wanting to kill your arch nemesis is completely normal and NOT GAY. I've got an arch nemesis and I have no desire to see his wang.

So last night I was walking downtown for some pizza at like 1am with some friends of mine,
and someone said, "I'm so hungry I could eat a whole pizza."

I said, "I bet I could eat 100 pizzas," and no one understood me. I was sad.

Well, yeah...lol, that's why I didn't mention it. It's pretty blatant. If anyone tries to deny that, I've got an RJ quote:

RJ said:

RJ's blog 30 September 2005 "YET ANOTHER POST"

And for MJJ, as posted by DomA, pillow friends are not just good friends. Oh, they are that, too, but they also get hot and sweaty together and muss up the sheets something fierce.

But women don't generally have a problem recognizing lesbianism even if it is subtext. It doesn't cause us to fear for our femininity. :(

On Theoryland every now and then we'll joke about what Rand and Mat did under the bushes on the Caemlyn Road, but I'll not try to claim that even a hint of such can be found in the text itself.

Not seeing or even not wanting to see a possible subtext, and fearing a possible subtext are completely different ideas. It doesn't necessarily have anything to do with a possible inner-bout with one's own sexuality.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

In moments of despair, do you have visions of him naked, giving you words of encouragement?

Nope, just generally plot from time to time ways to make him look like an idiot in front of large crowds. I did steal his woman though :(

Edited it because it offended Rodeo, my hero...who did the wise thing by delegating the offense to Apt. :(

Oh, and for S&M too. :p

Og good grief. This has moved into a whole new level of weird and squick.

So, being the half mod that I am, I think I should warn young Will Robinson of impending danger.

This topic started out risky and now the "discussion"'s gone straight into "NSFW" and not really fit for the malazan books of the forum territory. It's not quite crossed the line yet though but it's close.

Really, if you want to have a hentai/gay/bi/furry topic where you can express all your sexual fantasies you should perhaps go visit 4chans less known subforums.

Otherwise try and keep it clean, no? Lest the last thing you'll feel is rodeo's pickaxe right before you're burried in the canadian snow left to to sleep untill summer.

EDIT: Apt, doesn't really care personally but when he's semi-drunk he gets oh so moderator rightous... also Vegeta is hot.

Ha, again the Malazan mods pretend that the forum is family-friendly when the innuendo doesn't suit their preferences. :(
