This week's guest is the digital artist Vitaly S. Alexius. He was born in Russia, but he is currently living in Toronto, Canada. He is talented artist, who tries to develop an innovative, digital art style which he calls "Dreaminism". Some of his works are set in another Vitaly's style named "Romantically Apocalyptic". He express his talent in photography and literature (with an upcoming novel, "Chronoscape").

It has been a while, but these posts got delayed a little due to different reasons. But they are back and this week guest is the French artist, Marc Simonetti. He is very talented and made many covers for Sci-Fi and Fantasy novels (one of the latest being the cover art for the French edition of Patrick Rothfuss' "The Name of the Wind" published by Bragelonne).

Thank you, Puck I love the French cover for "The Name of the Wind" and I think that it catches a lot from the novel's mood

This week the guest of fantasy art posts is one of my favorite artists, Raymond Swanland. I'll admit that I am an admirer of his works and I absolutely love the cover artworks he has done for publishers like TOR, Wizards of the Coast, Night Shade Books (with a weak spot for the artwork for the Glen Cook's novels).

Hadn't noticed this thread before, but I'm glad I caught it today. Some very interesting stuff there DW, from some very talented people. I'm more a fan of some styles than others, but the ability of the artists is undeniable.

Echoing an earlier request: Michael Komarck.

Keep up the good work DW, I like this thread and your blog. We have lots of blogs for fantasy/scifi books, but very few for fantasy art.

I think that last artist featured did some (or one at least) nice german malazan covers (see forum gallery). Which of course makes him totally awesome!

My next guest is the American artist, Kekai Kotaki. He works for ArenaNet from 2003 and he works as a concept artist at the company's series of games, Guild Wars. Recently he made the artwork for the fantasy novel "Berserker Lord" by David Farland, which will be released this year by TOR.

This week guest is Nicole Cardiff. Nicole is an American artist, named by ImagineFX Magazine a Rising Star. She made many book cover and interior illustrations, especially for fantasy books, and concept works and promotional illustrations as well.

This week my guest is a German artist with a great attraction for the fantasy theme, Bente Schlick. Her works are focused on the portraits, especially women portraits. One of her works is featured on this year cover of the artbook Expose.
