Really good stuff by everyone. Nice to see a fight completed JA and Tapper, and very entertaining too. Good tactics by Duke in the end! Can't wait to see how Alt's giant monster fights little spider boy!

Hehe, I'm busy working on it at the moment. After reading that fight I wish I'd giving my character some room to crack quips or do funny stuff. Guess he's gonna have to resort to sheer bad-assery.

Also - JA vs Tapper.... Epic, sad that I can only vote for one of you, what an awesome note on which to start the tournament Way to good for a first round fight.

Shin, your character is brilliant I must say. Quite a touch of horror, which is nice.

And the Tapper JA fight is just hilarious. I'll hold out voting until there's a few more fights done, but it's sad that one of you will be picked over the other I think.

Based on the first posts, some of these fights promise to be awesome.

I'm looking forward to reading all of them, Alt vs Shin intrigues me, it seems to be quite different from our two macho men duking it out

Seems I'm under a bit of pressure here Just finished, hope it delivers. Bits of duking (no pun), with some attempts at tension, atmosphere and backstory.

I know I've asked about this before, but the winners submit a short (200 words maybe) post to the mods in which they dispatch their opponents? The mods could then just use their secret space station lazer to edit it into the post with the scores. I think it would add a bit of closure to the fights, and personally I'd like to give my opponents a proper send-off since everyone is writing so well. (Yes I have an ending for this fight that I'm really hoping I get to write, but shin is giving me a run for my money )

DIB, can you explain/remind us how the voting is going to work?

I know I volunteered to be a judge, and am still happy to act as one. But how do we do the regular vote and make sure nothing gets lost in this 17 page thread?
