The actor's name is Mark Sheppard. He played Romo Lampkin, the attorney, on BSG seasons 3 and 4. He was awesome in that role.
OK, I think I got it, but just in case, can you say the whole thing over again? I wasn't really listening.

Yeah, I knew he was in BSG. So, he's awesome in BSG, he's awesome in Supernatural and he's awesome in Doctor Who. I'm sensing a pattern here...
Screw you all, and have a nice day!

He's awesome in Firefly too, in a role that doesn't really give him much to be awesome with. I reckon his name in Who is a reference to Firefly...
I can't carry it for you, but I can carry you.

Those ones have the great creep factor going for them.

I agree. I don't think it was very well thought out. I thought it was kinda boring and unneccessary.

Yeah, this weekend's ep was just filler. I guess you're gonna have that from time to time.
OK, I think I got it, but just in case, can you say the whole thing over again? I wasn't really listening.

Haven't watched it yet, but all I can say: filler before The Doctor's Wife.

Does anyone have a favourite season of nu who? When I thought about it I realised I don't have one. They're all about the same to me, with some excellent episodes, and some bad ones. And those with more and worse bad ones have more or better good ones.

The Doctor's Wife is the very definition of filler. It was meant to be in the last season, ffs. There's no reason that filler episodes can't be great- Blink was after all an episode they made to save money by filming two episodes at the same time.

This was the average filler that every Who season must have though. Mind, if this is as bad as this season gets I'll be very pleased (remember Fear Her?). And theories abound that it might actually end up being crucial to the season at large:

Yes, Fear Her. Fear her indeed. Even better, Fear Her came straight after Love and Monsters, which was even worse.

I found something that the Doctor said to be sort of strange. It may have just been an oversight, but it seems pretty obvious...

Our planet? Shouldn't he be saying your planet?

I found that a little strange as well. I just put it down as a writing slip, but I guess we will see...

My review of the latest episode...seemingly echoing everyone else's feelings about it.

The guy who wrote this ep is not very good aside from the Doctor's dialogue.

Amy does look hot as a pirate. So the episode has that going for it.
