The quietly building storm of violence has finally been unleashed.
There has been rioting in the streets, and both soldiers of the 7th Legion and the city garrisson have been busy tearing down barricades, scattering followers of the various factions and guarding the houses of the wealthy. The chaos was a perfect guise for a schooled killer to use as a cover... And thus, it is no wonder that there has been a victim of all this violence.

Brutus' house has been under surveillance of armed supporters, but has also been beset by mobs throughout the night, at times, a few hundred would-be robbers, plunderers and murderers gathered outside, brandishing swords, knives and torches. Howling rabble, not skilled assassins. But while Brutus' friends and guards were busy holding them off, a shadowy figure entered Brutus' study, and plunged a sword into his chest after a short scrap that went unnoticed in the much louder mayhem outside.

Mockra (Gavin) has died. He was of the Brutii.

Well, thats interesting.

Today I think shadow may be a good idea.
He seemed a bit desperate or something last night.
We are told the Brutii have extra powers.
He seems fairly powerful, for example, I recall him saying he guaranteed no nk. Well, there been one, so im a bit concerned by his actions.

ah the joys of playing exactly as you should for your new faction. Seems the republic can recruit. Ampelas was given to me as the face man of julii when i was recruited so hes a target. shadow is obvioiusly brutii, so i think its one of those two. All my bp's are gone and i have an upgrade as a result. i can now kill at night at the cost of my own life as my soldiers have come to my aid. i am republic once again.

i think the republic were big at the start and are still the majority. we have shadow and ampelas as two definites of other factions though.

I think shadow has seemed fairly dangerous throughout, with lots of info. And I reckon that if the brutii have gained powers(something he's denied pretty strongly) then they are the most dangerous faction.

You could have been recruited, and are now pretending to have been re-recruited, to scare everyone into thinking republic can recruit AND had a majority start.

Ive said before that I think we should go for the brutii because of their increased power, so Il go for shadow unless theres some other brutii suspects. Im thinking possibly D'riss but Il have to look back to work out why i think that.
