For those of you who were unaware of the greeting card we sent from the Scary Mob to Steve, here is the finished version :-

And for some reason Steve's reply got trapped in the underworld, and we've just found it - so here it is, better late than never . He sends his greetings to all.

Oh my goodness, T-Rex at the controls of a Skykeep?

"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"

Woah, didn't notice this. Sweet.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Yeah. If you check out the author QandA... or maybe it's announcements?... anyway if you take a look you should be able to find the original painting Erikson made where it's taken from.

Isn't Kruppe supposed to have a rather ugly rattail beard?
Anyhew, the dude on the picture seems like Kruppe to me too, perhaps he shaved for a change :p

Looks like he's ready to blow you, doesn't he?

Actually he looks like he might possibly in the money for a handjob too

I am Abyss and I am horrified by this thread.

- Abyss, could have cheerfully gone the rest of his life without reading the words 'Kruppe' and 'handjob' in the same sentence...

Glad you liked the card, further apologies to Spin for drawing on his picture.

Still wish we could have fitted the K'chain K'santa comment somewhere...
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

I can't believe you are totally fine with Kruppe and blow you (blow job) in the same sentence and yet find kruppe and handjob to be an issue...I must admit to some confusion.

Very Good tyrant, Looks like Kruppe can take on 3 at a time...
