I figured it would be useful to have a place where we can see each other's xbox usernames and what games we might be able to find a fellow malaz member willing to play.

My name on xbox live is LuxuryYacht215. Right now the only games i have are Gears of War 1 and ncaa football 09. Well, I guess i also have lego indiana jones, which came with the xbox, but haven't actuallly played it.

I originally made it as Morgoth, but when I registered live they naturally explained that morgoth was taken.. so they suggested Morgoth40, another variation of that and CrossMantis.. So now I am crossmantis, the underground gamer who fights crime when there's a power outage

I win games under the name CrusadingKiller.

My go-to games right now are Gears 2, Call of Duty: World at War, and Left 4 Dead. I also have many other games in my collection.

@DiBs- have you played GoW2 recently? If so, do you think the lag is because of where you live? Because I play with Sparky oftenish and with other friends and don't usually have lag. Usually I just win and dominate heh.

I don't know how the software for XBL matchups works for GoW2, but I have a friend who continually bitches about how Bungie can't program multiplayer properly - despite the fact that when we're at uni he has absurdly fast internet that would make him an ideal host (connected to the UK trunkline = sweeeet ;)), on Halo's multiplayer the host ALWAYS goes to a player in the US if there is one in the game. Which means that he gets annoying (for him, anyway) quantities of lag from the transatlantic crossing. So if GoW is similar, then it would make sense that DiBs is getting the lag while you Yanks can play without it.

Sir Thursday
Don't look now, but I think there's something weird attached to the bottom of my posts.

Yeah sorry about the other day DiBs, I had a phone call I had to take after only 1 match and had to step away for a few. it's tough to try and have a phone interview with explosions going on in the background :p

My name is EatMyGrundle. I'm playing most Gears 2 these days, will throw in some Halo 3 if requested. Other multiplayer games... Forza 2, Fable 2, probably picking up Left4Dead and MAYBE CoD. I've got more, but my brain isn't working this early.

Anyone down for some Gears later?

So last night I was walking downtown for some pizza at like 1am with some friends of mine,
and someone said, "I'm so hungry I could eat a whole pizza."

I said, "I bet I could eat 100 pizzas," and no one understood me. I was sad.

what we need is more good players, like me, to carry Sparky's slack. I can only do so much.

I'm kidding, kinda, Sparky is good when it isn't 3am and he isn't drunk hehe. It is very funny to listen to though. But playing with others on the forum is fun, win or lose. It is just more fun to win.

@ Gnome- is that Sony the Bravia? The letters and stuff seems familar, I think it is the same one that I have. If so I'm sure you will love it, mine is absolutely awesome. In fact we recently got another one to have in my dorm room, while the other (too big for the dorm) stays home for the family.

Yeah, it's a 32" bravida, HD-ready. Supposedly the same as 32V4000, except different colour. No use with full HD for me, can't have any bigger TV (room too small!) and no hdmi plug on my 360...

ah ok. I think your 360 can still go HD without the HDMI port though. I have an elite so it came with the port and cable and looks nice. However it also came with another set of cables that goes into the component input of the television and allows 720p which we use on my brothers regular 360. It looks almost exactly the same as mine, which is using HDMI cables.

I'm not sure if that really makes sense... but I try.

yeah you're stuck with 720p with component. Not bad though, but it makes a pretty serious leap when you go to 1080p :p

Yeah yeah, laugh it up Stalker :) You know I can play when I'm sober(ish).

You're not very good at reading, Stalker, are you? :p

Spark: The leap isn't that big on a small screen, and any bigger wouldn't fit (literally) in my living room... So I went for high quality on the other parts, which is just as important.

My GT is joky.

Currently playing online COD4, GoW2, Fifa 09, Tiger woods 09, I'm also up for PGR4 its gathering dust but is still a great online game.

COD4 is taking most my time as I'm playing through the missions at veteran level (and its tough) just got a couple more levels to go.

Feel free to send an invite with Malaz in the message, I'll then accept.
