That's correct, it is Serenity in MT.

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

Kallor in MOI.

I know someone mentioned that was Kallor which would make sense with his attitude but i'm pretty sure the above quote was Duiker to Coltaine in DHG.
In response to coltaine saying something like "we are denyed in our needs" and Duiker responds with a Wikan sense of humour...

The next quote I read recently and gave me a giggle.

"I got a cusser waiting for it, and damned if I won't make sure I take you all with me"

not as obvious as one may think...

I dont know about Duiker and Coltaine (might really be the quote does appear twice), but I meant Kallor's response to Anomander Rake in MoI:
"You seem to stand alone in this High King."
"It was ever thus."

Obviously it has advantages to wait until someone confirms that a guess was right.

So Urizen got it right, and his quote should be answered next...

And I would think that is Temper in Night of Knives.

Nah it's either Studlock or Madrun in TtH. I don't know to whom but I think it was Torvald

It is definetely temper from when he is putting some other semi-veteran at his place because he keeps thinking he is the king and is making of stories about how he fought this and that from the crimson guard. Also, the earlier quote about "it was ever thus" is kallor to rake in MoI as somebody else mentioned.
Of course the quotes I know comes forth while I am gone :p

So next quote:

"We might need the [xxx] after all, you wont because you will be dead."

The [xxx] is not a person, but I think it would make the quote to easy to guess :D

That's Karsa to Torvald in House of Chains. The xxx = water.

Not really any clue... maybe a guess: Nimander and his lot to Gothos in Toll the Hounds?

Nope... only clue I can give without making it really obvious is this: when you first read the line, it makes you grin (or at least it made me do so)

I'd so be answering this one if I wasn't too lazy to find another quote. I mean, my favourite book in the series? Easy.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

That be correct...

The scene is: Brukhalian has just finished giving Gethol a cut across the face for saying bad stuff about Fener, and Gethol is considering taking him out. The bonecasters appear behind Brukhalian and with that one line, drive Gethol away. :D

Your turn...

No, it's not Heuk or anyone else from RotCG. It's a SE character.
