How I love the middle one of TB's first post, and the first pic of her second :D

What makes me laugh (aside from the woman's uber 70's ensemble) is the "New York Times bestselling author" blurb. I mean...really??

I guess I don't get the humor here. David Wolverton = David Farland = NYT bestselling author.

And really, the first book (The Golden Queen) isn't bad. I'd like to track down the next two.

Ahh...see, I was just saying that (judging a book by its cover) I would never have assumed that this author was on the NYT best-seller lists. Tis all. :D

As for the latest covers...I think I need to rinse my eyes out with bleach or something. They take tacky to a whole new level!

Geez, tehol, where'd you dig up those stinkers? :D
"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"

You can't have a discussion about bad covers without bringing up the US versions of the MBoTF covers, guys!

Last but not least: what they originally had in mind for Deadhouse Gates. :D Fortunately they saw sense and went with the UK version in this case.

Sir Thursday
Don't look now, but I think there's something weird attached to the bottom of my posts.
