I fail to see how not killing the last Ivet is a good thing. As soon as the guard is recruited we start getting picked off again. I would think the cult leader would be an attractive target as the possessed could then stop cult growth (unless there is a second/backup recruiter that wasn't Omtose) and having a good idea who town is start picking us off.

I think we need to get this last killer out of the way before he starts wreaking havoc and it gives us one more thing to worry about. Then we start going after the cult head. Thats where I stand. Thoughts?

Not sure why you limit Omtose to only being the second/backup recruiter. Is it because you already know who the recruiter is, maybe?

I was saying that If the Main recruiter got possesed, cult growth would stop UNLESS there is a back up recruiter. And that back up recruiter isn't Omtose as he is dead and growth would stop even if there was a back up recruiter....did that make sense? I think I just confused myself

Explanation of post 1317, apparently I wasn't clear enough.

The piece I underlined gives me the impression that HP thinks of Omtose as a possible second/backup recruiter and not as a possibility for the original recruiter. I was asking for the reason why he might think that, offering that maybe it is because he knows who the actual recruiter is.

That last was a cross post with HP.

His explanation satisfies me. It was a matter of phrasing that could have been taken one way that would have hinted at HP knowing somehow that Omtose wasn't the main cultist. Sometimes the phrasing used is subconscious and as such I felt it was worth the mention. The fact that he offered a genuine attempt to clarify as opposed to getting defensive about it makes me willing to drop it.

Well, the Ruse case seems to have some merit, but i'll be around yet a little while, so if nothing comes up before I go, i'll probably vote him.

I might vote Ruse because by the time I come back the day might have timed out. For the record, I don't really think he's cult or Ivet, at least not original cult, but I have been wrong before. And I am not worried to say things like this since, like I said before, I can prove that I started the game inno if challenged, which makes me at worst a recruit. Also, anyone possessing me would not be able to provide the proof I keep promising.

I had a tought about the lack of night-kills since we lynched Rashan. There is this hypothesis floating around that the possessed come into their new body when this body is under some kind of torture. Lynching Rashan might have triggered it, and he became the first possessed.

Now, it can't happen all the time to the lynchees, otherwise it would obvious and we would have to lynch everyone twice. But what if after the Quinn lynch the Ivet's winning condition became possessed? And that every night, their "target" becomes possessed instead of killed?

That might be why there's no guard coming up to reveal, because there isn't one. The NKs keep happening, except we don't see them as they get possessed.

This is a thought, which means that I'll go against the grain and

To possibly stop the Ivets, and possession. We have this huge advantage that dibs didn't foresee, that we can eliminate the killers quickly after lynching Quinn. Let's use it.
