Yes, it was cancelled, but it is a well established truth that cancelling Firefly was the biggest crime against television since they made Dancing with the Stars.

It's one awesome season and there's few 1 season DVDs that has sold as well as Firefly. Watch the series, then watch the film. Aaaawesome.
