Hmmm? I dont know if you havent noticed, but this is exactly a thread about the love of goodking. Then again, i dont think we should take him out of the literature category alltogether, it is stuff written on paper and all you know.

Uhh, no it's not. The first post is a complete "WTF?" over Richard slaughtering innocents (in a completely moral way, of course). This thread is a bash-Goodkind thread, through and through.
If I write "penis" in big lettering on a piece of paper, is it literature? It's stuff written on paper, after all. No, it isn't. I was merely making a joke about how Goodkind is so terrible it's an insult to place him in the same league as real literature.

It's litter at ya.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Oops. Sorry, typo. It was supposed to read this isn't exactly a love for goodking thread. And i know you were making a joke, but the thread was actually closed for real. I was just trying to make an argument about not closing the thread. It just wouldn't be the same without some nice goodking bashing. Im trying hard to hate on the man without going over the top and get the thread closed like its predecessors. I was sad when this was closed, thankfully it was temporary.

I was thinking, it's a shame that TG shaved his head, and so no longer sports a wicked Yeard. However, his current look, shaved bald with a beard, looks almost as silly on him and deserves its own name. Sheard maybe? Yes. I dub it a Sheard. (Note: a goatee with a shaved head does not qualify as a full Sheard, bu of course can get an honorable mention. A proper Sheard is a full beard, and the head must be shaven bald, not just buzzed.)

He looks exactly like the Buzzard from the Marvel Comics.

Only bald wrinkly-necked Marvel character I can think of off the top of my head is the Vulture, and he's cleanshaven.
Also bald and goatee'd is called a Grand Vizier.

The Vanisher is also bald, and somewhat wrinkly IIRC.
It is perfectly monstrous the way people go about nowadays saying things against one, behind one's back, that are absolutely and entirely true.

omg, some of your posts made lol hard, Illy, RLY and Mappo...rep all around.
Now, I've recently registered with fanfiction.net and I noticed in the rules and guidelines that the Shearded Vulture does not want fan fics of his stuff to be posted publicly. Why is that, I wonder? Is he afraid that anyone, even a twelve-year old illiterate boy from Panama could write his characters better than him, as well as come up with a much better plot?

Much like reading anything by Ayn Rand, will reading a Terry Goodkind book make me a total a$$hole for at least six months?

No. Goodkind is not as good as his success would suggest, but his writing is nowhere near atrocious enough to make you an asshole. Now, Twilight...

I'll agree to this. For some mysterious reason, and mind you I was told of this >.>, the mods will brook no individual posting a dissenting opinion of his work on his official website. I can understand trolls but from what I was told, of course, even polite, intelligent posts are deleted and the post is permanently banned. I like TG's work, but the man seems a tad insecure.
I still heart Goodkind.

'Tell me, Tool, what dominates your thoughts?'
The Imass shrugged before replying. 'I think of Mafia, Adjunct.'
'Do all Imass think about Mafia?'
'No. Few think at all.'
'Why is that?'
The Imass leaned his head to one side and regarded her. 'Because, Adjunct, they are sheeple.'
Sometimes I wonder, "Why is that frisbee getting bigger?" ... and then it hits me.

It was a spoof website. Of course, not every Goodkind fan who joined realised that.
