I think in the series their were different strains, I think it knocks out your powers at least. Probably kills.

If it killed people it would seem to be a rather handcuffed ability considering Mohinder gets to see everyone who Adam poisons/viruses. That would make Mohinder rather powerful. He could decide who lives and dies from who he knows has the virus. That is if Serc shows us.

Also, we dont know how many of these heals he has. Yes we've seen him use multiple, doesnt mean it wont run out or something.

Looks like she is just working through all the actions.
