I mean, COME ON! :)

OK, so Gem was inno. There has been pressure on people who refused to finish her and forced us in a day without lynch. Obdigore tried to revive a dead horse Lace train, which I found suspicious. Why not finish Gem then if she was inno? Same applies to the rest.

I think the Gem train was already scum-heavy and they didn't want to go all in with the inno CF coming. Also, leaving Gem around would have kept the idea that Gem might be guilty, and we would have discussed that for another wasted day, plus it adds pressure to those who are "attached" to her, i.e. would be her symps and such. Without the vig (I guess), that would have worked.

So: - I think there was one (few?) guilty on the failed Gem train, but not all since they knew she would come up inno and put pressure on the voters, they were hoping the innos would finish her.
- I wonder who had to gain by keeping the possibility that Gem was guilty one more day at least.

EDIT: here is the Gem train at the end of the night, for completion:

4 Votes Gem: Silencer, Yellow, Gavin, Morgoth

This makes sense, the only problem is that there just wasnt time, maybe the scum just wasnt around at the time, or was too scared at putting in late speed lynch votes as it will attract attention?

Morgoth mentioned earlier this morning that there were enough people online to see Gem lynched. Probably only just enough, and possibly including Obdigore who already said he wouldn't.

Well, there's many things that are impossible or hard to compute, eg time zones, computer availability, real life action. That's why we are so often wrong :)

But that's my take on things, game mechanics-wise.

Yeah, already mentioned the lack of access by phone and deadline time played a part as well. Nothing to do about it except carry on.

When i was rereading i remember him pressuring mocker to place his vote on gem, but he also said that they would need 4 more votes after mockers. I dont think there was enough people. Although i was not there at the time there could very well have been.

I'm here, just not too convinced (even by myself)

I'm still thinking Vengeance. I didn't really see Morgoth until now, but the bits keep accumulating, from so many players I can't imagine they are all in bad faith.

Tbh I thought DiBs would probably get it, but I wasn't expecting Gem to get nked after she'd survived a train, I thought the killers would just resurrect the train today if they were gonna take her out!

Do you even read the thread?
Someone more than likely vigged her.

Ah. Well, I just got back from lectures and skipped to the end once I saw the kills, I won't lie. I shall proceed to read now tho. :)

Have just read through now, I'm thinking Tapper is getting very defensive as people have said and i think it is likely that he is guilty. I'm still not sure about morgoth. Will be interesting to see what happens today, may go back for a reread later if i find the time to try and clarify things.

I'm here.

In response to JA, whos only 'thought' against me seems to be me 'resurrecting' the Lace train?

Did you read what I was saying at that time? I didn't think morgy or gem were evil. Lace had the most votes of the 3 people I was willing to vote for right then.

Would you be so kind as to explain why that makes me suspicious?

Why didn't you consider Gem and Morgoth evil? Wasn't it better to accomplish a lynch than to vote for someone that was more or less forgotten for that day? I agree Lace smells fishy, I voted for him earlier that day, but that was not the best time to "make a point" IMO.

Because they hadn't struck me as evil. Morgy is being inno morgy, just as dibs was being inno dibs. Gem isn't taking the game seriously which leads me to believe she is roleless.

If there were people on to lynch Gem, then there were people on to lynch Lace. Why did Morgy vote for gem who only had 3 at the time instead of Lace who had 4?

Right, I'm back. So DiBs kill is considered to be WIFOM... I dunno. Seems like there could have been a point to it, maybe the killers want to keep the attention on someone DiBs accused earlier. Just guessing mind, I don't really know, I like to think that maybe there's a pattern, would make the game much more understandable. :)
Gem was vig killed because someone really thought she was guilty enough to want to get rid of her even though the train didn't go through. Can we assume it was someone on the Gem, then? Yellow, Gavin, Silencer or Morgoth?

Why don't you tell us what YOU think Lish, instead of asking questions and parroting what people have said before?
