Haha, oh my this is soo funny. Except now I don't know if I should vote for Silencer or Lace. I guess I'll keep my vote on lace for now. Is this just some elaborate joke, or is it a newbie killer in the hood? Hard to say, it's wifom, but Silencer should know better. That's probably why they take it down on tapper and not moi. Well you probably can, assuming this vote fails. Some mistakes are worth making more than once.
EDIT: Who says you havent already voted for me twice???? I am thinking you already have.

Silencer voted for Tapper and never mentioned you. This is suggestive of you Symping for Tapper. Seems too obvious to me though. Nobody would be that stupid.

Nice post.
I should be around most of the day today. There doesn't seem a lot going on at the moment, except a bit of heat on Lace and a growing warmth on Tapper that will probably just fade to nothing.
I don't think Lace is acting particularly scummy, he's just being himself. But I don't trust him. Because he's being himself. He says he's not under pressure, which is fair enough, but let's see if that changes later on.
vote Lacedaemonian

I'd love a reasoning from Silencer for the vote on me. Clearly, I've been behaving in a scummy fashion according to him and that is enough to mistrust me.
Which is actually fine with me, since as I prefer to walk the thin line between somewhat scummy and most likely inno: the killers will not exactly know if I am a symp or not so will not kill me, the added scrutiny will over time reveal I have nothing to hide, roled players (especially scum) generally don't risk their ass that way so my fellow inno's have no real reason to get rid of me despite the doubt, and it will lend my words more weight in the meantime, thanks to the added doubt. Not to mention that walking a tight rope is what makes this game interesting Lace's vote? trying to get the heat off himself, most likely.
Now, it is interesting that he mentions a tandem between Gem and me, and since it is the reason for his vote on me and my vote already was on me, I'm going to explore this a bit more in debt, hoping to lynch him.
Naturally, I know why I voted for alt and Lace (and said so on topic), but since I'm a roleless inno, I have no clue why Gem would, nor why she would do so twice after I did (at the least, I think she was after me when voting for alt, she most certainly is when it comes to Lace). We're both in the CET time zone though, so that explains part of it: online at the same time. More, Gem already announced on day 1 that she would switch to alt146 if it lead to a lynch. If I were a killer and she were my symp, I would definately expect her to be a little bit less circumspect, and Gem is quite a subtle player usually.
Her reasons for voting Lace have also been broadcasted: to make him helpful (answer questions) and make him play the game in a way where he is helpful: a player doing whatever he likes (as Yellow said) is a liability because he most certainly won't help catch the killer, which is one of my main gripes with Lacedaemonian. So far, both Gem and me have given our reasons, which is more than can be said for Silencer in extremis and Lace to a bit lesser extent.
And now, I think I'm going for a run outside, the weather is marvellous

What's interesting is Lace jumping on straight after I voted for you. Now, either he is trying to divert attention onto you, or he is trying to divert attention onto me.
What is even more interesting, is that no one has voted for me for my vote-without-a-reason. Nor joined the train. Very strange. Probably due to the weekend break, but there you go.

So what you're saying is you want to lynch him because he's voting for you... that doesn't lend much weight to everything that came after that statement. Everything after is justification for a mind made up.

Nope, not exactly. What I am hoping to do is turn his vote for me (which had an itsybitsy bit of reasoning), against him. The reasoning: if I falsify his connection between Gem and me (the main part of his argument), the ball is on his side of the court again and he just lost a potential diversion. For him to switch targets again after that would reek of despair and the question will pop up: why? and at the same time, he will become a sitting duck if he does nothing. Basically, I hope to force him to participate.
EDIT: although I would not be particularly displeased if he gets lynched as a result.

How have I lost a potential diversion? Because you said I have? I didnt realise your words carried so much weight - I presume they should carry less weight since you were an integral factor in the Lynching of Alt and probably the slaying of J_Slr.
Also why would it be an issue if I switched targets? < Explain this please? I have already indicated two pools of suspicion, so if I felt sufficient evidence was pointing the other way, I would go the other way. I still think the voting of Morgoth on day one had significant relevance. It was a fluke scenario based on nothing (at least for me) but seemed to gather much interest. This was strange when considering people voted for Alt with similiarly no reason.
I think you just make a case against yourself here, Tapper. But am suspicious of your reasons for doing it. Does self preservation come before the Team? Part of me thinks my death would answer more questions than not. I think you tie your fate to mine.

Losing a diversion: there are only so many people you can point to before you're seen as desperate. More, since everyone usually grasps the best case (next to the one against him) to use as a diversion of attention first. In the end, bogus cases remain.
Now, of course, you are more than free to continue to question me and my motives. I'll be more than willing to answer, as well.
As for the lynching of alt146, well... I already explained myself. I want a lynch day 1. That may sound bloodthirsty, especially to someone new, so I'll give you a full explanation.
Why lynch day 1? Because it yields information. Because it gives a measure of control over the game: if town does not lynch, the killers are free to do as they please. More, the bogus cases of day 1 would persist. Ultimately, lynching commits people. I switched votes from Yellow to alt146 in the end when it became certain that we would have a lynch that way. DiBs for example did the exact same thing, so to say that I played a pivotal role is exaggerated.
Selfpreservation does not come before the team: most of us inno's will bite the dust before we eliminate all killers. Nearly half of those who perish are invariably lynched by other inno's. However, being a martyr never was a benefit to the team either, so, what you do is contribute as much as you can, knowing full well you can be wrong. As for you being lynched and coming up innocent, well, I accept the risks. It wouldn't be the first time two inno's disagree and get each other lynched. Now, the question is: would a killer say that? Cause a 1-for-1 trade this early in the game wouldn't be a good pay-off for team evil. On the other hand, your ominous statement may well be intended to get me off your back

Nearly forgot to answer this.
I think the lack of a train was mostly caused by you not putting forth any arguments whatsoever, and even more by it being sunday morning. Lace coming along was possibly to divert attention or seeking support from you against me, who knows? Still, Silencer, why a vote without reasoning accompanying it?
