and its not my fault if some of the cases do seem to make sense to me?

no worries, not like there's much to choose from at this stage in the game i spose.

will be different in couple of days tho methinks, as it gets more intense and more clueful (thats totally a word)

I'd be really happy to vote for Gavin.
He's been influential through his actions but has offered very little of his own insight into the game. If we let him, he will always be a low poster this game. if we then all reason like JA (let's lynch someone with more content) then low posting and not offering insight into actions and motives is a) getting rewarded, :) your own go-out-of-jail-card for as long as you keep it up.

However, seeing that Silencer has received votes, has done drive-by-voting without explaining himself (which is a good ground for asking the why and how), and seems to be online every now and then without posting (it's an art, I can't do it), I'm perfectly happy with voting for him to pressure him into talking. Not sure I want to keep my vote on him until lynch, though.

Vote Silencer.

That all being said, I'm looking forward to see Morgoth post now that his main tormentor is dead.

Ok for the new players out there. This is not how you put pressure on someone. Yes voting does put pressure but when you say that you doubt that you will keep your vote on through a lynch then that removes a lot of the pressure. :)

-Vengeance here to educate

well Venge, it will depend on his reaction.
If we get any and it's good, it'll be removed. If not, it could stay.

the only reason to vote JA right now would be coz of his general rep lol, he seems pretty clean

same with dkt really (even if he did vote me grrr)

altho it mite just seem that way to me coz i'm never able to get online properly the same time as them and so canny question directly. hmm duno

EDIT: spelling. and i think dkt shud join me on that list lol, we're both under the radar

I like the way you say it could stay... Way to pile on the pressure :p

Well mate, so far, I haven't been dancing like a moth between a gazillion different candles :)

On the why of my vote and its wording: I've seen Silencer play games where he has 15 posts in a single game. It's how he rolls, he won't suddenly triple his posting if the pressure mounts. He probably wouldn't know what to say if he did, and a talkative Silencer would be such a novelty that we'd probably lynch him out of shock.

I want an answer for his votes, if they make sense, then I am personally satisfied. I do not aim higher than that.

Well, thats good to know... Can't wait till I have played enough games to be able to have this kind of knowledge base.

I am not going to go digging but Silencer did mention that he is surprised that no one voted for him after his drive by vote. Surprised and ready with a defense. I am willing to give him time to come on and justify his vote. But, if he hasn't come on by the time I log for the night my vote will be going to him.

Yossarian was sorry to hear that they had a mutual friend. It seemed there was a basis to their conversation after all.

That particular vote was sunday morning CET/GMT... when Lace, Lisheo, Gem and me were about the only population of this topic. It's still (the) one I want a reason for, but I guess that the sheer (lack of) number of players made sure there wouldn't be much of a reaction.

My hypothesis:

Dibs was the vigilante. Not sure why he removed Gem - perhaps he too tired of her half arsed attempts of playing this. Think somebody mentioned she was distracted by her modding - which is understandable. Maybe he too thought that there was more to gain from pressuring Morgoth than just offing him right now. I would agree with this. Other dancers seem to get a little bit uncomfortable with the Morg votes. - This hypothesis is based on my impression of Dibs playing style and also the mod's night story.

Jibberjabber:

Dibs voted Morg and I reckon his vote carried more weight than mine. He is much more feared player than me. Also people constantly try to discredit me. I want to go down the Morg route still BUT there are still too many non players. Some players are having no effect but posting a lot. Some players are having an effect but not posting at all. Both sets of people are suspect and will continue to be until they remedy their shortcomings.

Gem:

I did not vote for her because I had a feeling she would turn up Inno. She played like a Symp but she also played like she was not interested. At this time I felt Tapper would have been a better target and would have joined this train had it happened. Not sure I would now though. I was also concerned about the people voting for her and their brand new enthusiasm. Smelled like a stale fart to me.

I doubt Silencer is going to make 10 posts to get his views across. The one or two he may make will either have content, or none, and that will be all he will share until he's nearly lynched, I guess.

As for being main occupants; it's also about content... It usually takes me a couple of posts to get my thoughts across/worded in a way I like. I'm usually somewhere just under the top 5-6 posters in a game, but nearly always top half. If I could be as brief as Gavin, I'd do it, but I gave it a try and failed miserably a couple of games ago.
This game it's more because work allows it (and because I really dislike altless games, so I put in more effort as I struggle more).

@ Lace: listing your case against Morgoth or reviving DiBs' case against him never hurt anyone. With Gem dead and DiBs dead, the game is shifting slightly, you can see it in the people now being scrutinized, they're different.

Fuck knows. This day is so far turning into a soggy carpet of voting. Hmm, think I'll go make myself a drink. Fuck it, it's Tuesday.

There's too much pussy footing around going on here. This is why it's bad to kill of the most vocal players...

... Baudin's response to my vote on him has been much the same as the rest of his play: ineffective. I barely even have the energy to bother continuing to vote for him. Even if he is a killer, he's almost too boring to bother with. Team Evil win by apathy. A new technique.

edit - sigh. I'm not in the mood for cross posting today.
