At this point I would be willing to vote for, in order:

Gavin
Lace
Yellow

It appears the only one in there that is going to get any kind of votes is Lace, so that is where I am going to place my vote.

Vote Lacedaemonian

BTW - Gem the case against you is that you post, but don't "contribute". If you do keep that up I would be willing to vote for you tomorrow.

Obdi, if that is meant to be counted as a vote, you may want to bold it, rather than quote it...

Would you consider changing to Gavin, Obdi? Because I think the case against Lace is rather poor, he's been offensive, and has an annoying playing style, but I don't think he's a killer. He's too out-there. Gavin, to my mind, fits typical killer behaviour, laying low and subtly shaping things. Lace has actually accomplished nothing bar voting for Morgy two days in a row. :) I myself would agree to voting Gavin, but I suppose Lace already has a train on him.

edit - this post is cut in two because the board says there's too much quoting in it.

Gem has added nothing to this game since Gavin's accusations of her being a contentless post-padder (which is the most significant aspect to the case, in my mind, and not any possible connection with Tapper, who it should be noted is no longer voting for Gem).

Okay guys, if you feel you must lynch me off, then fine, it's the only thing I'm good for anyway in this game. If you do happen to lynch me off - which might or might not happen - I suggest you take a look at Lace, The Dude and Gavin. Maybe Silencer too - as I've already stated Silencer should know better than play the way he does.

It has been argued that the way I and alt played is scummy - well it is also the way innocents play - attracting as much attention of the killers as possible. I myself want to be nk'd, because it's much more fun than being lynched, but hey, whatever right?

Despite what Gem later says, the above post quite clearly paints her as not willing to play the game properly. "If you must lynch me off, then fine" However this is probably the closest Gem has come since to actually contributing.

Silly JA, I was being honest. I know every well you guys don't have any compassion, it's a matter of life and death, incidentally.

Edit: what's the Vengeance case anyway?

Joking around. Doesn't really know what to say, so asking others to summarise another case for her.

Defence against what? I have to know what I am supposed to defend against to do it.

Read the thread and read the cases. Still no content.

Of course I don't want to be lynched - I never said that. The only case anyone has mentioned on me is that there's some sort of mystical connection between me and Tapper? Which is ridiculous, because all that happened was that I said I was willing to switch, and when enough people had voted, I hammered. That Tapper voted around that time had nothing to do with me - all I know is that I voted when I had promised I was going to vote. Everything else us just make belief.

You don't want to be lynched? You said it was fine earlier on.

View PostGem Windcaster, on Oct 20 2008, 08:23 PM, said:

Guys, I never said I wanted to quit, I never said I wanted to die, and you guys haven't even got a case on me. Good diverting attention away from Lace though. Dunno if that means he's a good guy or bad though.

There are two cases on Gem. One is Gavin's, which swayed me the most, and the other is the connection with Tapper (can't remember who made it though). Trying to divert attention onto Lace, who all of us at one point or another have stated a desire to vote off.

View PostGem Windcaster, on Oct 20 2008, 08:26 PM, said:

What are you on about Tapper, there's no connection, just because someone says there are doesn't mean there are any, or even that there are any real signs of it. Trying to get an easy inno lynch?

Not much of a defence here, instead of defending herself properly she's just throwing accusations around. Once again, Gem is struggling for content. She doesn't want to lie and she's stifled. This happens to killers all the time - certainly happens to me when I'm a killer. Gem is playing very much the killer so far in my book.

I'm totally fine with you lynching me, I said in the sign up thread, that my goal is to get lynched/killed the first couple of days, and then help modding.

I don't know.. to me that sounds like you want to get lynched. It is, after all, your goal. :)

Man, I was being sarcastic. Didn't know that could be lethal. Besides, if I didn't want to play, I wouldn't have signed up. If we'd lynch everybody that was fooling around the first day, we'd have no players left. :)

It wasn't for fooling around, and you did say getting lynched was fine with you.

Edit: after all there were more people voting for alt.

Lace also seems to drag up the newb card alot. That coupled with his general posting style...has all kinds of warning sirens go off.

Edit: grammar

Aha, some content! Back onto Lace again, pointing out that his posting style is setting off alarm bells, which most of us has commented on before to some degree. Although I do notice that she is not diverting attention onto Morgoth, which would be her best bet. So, does she really suspect Lace, or is she partnered with Morgoth?

I voted for Morgoth on day 1, so you can probably guess which way I'm thinking on that one.

Obdi- I like where you are going with the low poster logic and Gem did bring up a good point about those 3 voting for her. The problem is, other than a few substance posts by Gavin, there really isn't much to go on. lame

So, sorry for not being on much tonight - I got in late from football and then Moll was on the PC all night.

The above posts are why I'm leaving my vote on Gem. I believe she's playing as the classic killer who doesn't know what to say. Trying to be playful, trying to post without incriminating, and as a result she's finding it difficult to include anything helpful to discussions.

Morgoth has been ringing my bell since yesterday, but as stated I've not really seen anything scummy enough today to vote for him. It's just a gut feeling, which I know people have spoken out against, but has served me well in the past.

So yeah, at this moment I'm thinking Gem as a killer, Morgy as a killer, Venge as a symp (another gut feeling) and don't know about any others.

I notice that Tapper, who was linked in connection to Gem, is now no longer voting for Gem. Was Tapper's vote for Gem just distancing? Possibly.

Anyway, I'm off to bed. See you in the morning.

Tappers unvote for Gem was nicely explained by Tapper (that is, according to Tapper :)) in Tappers unvote post :) Seriously: the connection made between Gem and me was made (or at the least, repeated quite a few times) by Lace and is handled by my post nr 1071, page 27 (I'm now on page 30); basically questioning whether it was ill will or just an oversight of what actually happened.

No, I said it was fine if people felt they had to lynch me off - i.e. to get information. The rest I was exaggerating in a sarcastic sense.

However I agree that I might have a made myself into an easy target by not contributing, I'll try my best to change that. :Crash:

Ahem.

Vote Lacedaemon

Yes I did mean to vote up there, but I'm not going to change it.

Im leaving work and won't be back for a couple hours I don't think, and so will mis the day time-out.

I don't really like the case against Lace either, but he has the most out of hte people I am willing to vote for and that is why my vote is there.
