Keg is for amateurs and tourists. Next time try this place.

Oi, watch it boyo. That's our fave restaurant! LOL

And a very nice fave restaurant the Keg is.
If you like sports bars masquerading as steak houses.

What on earth? what sort of Keg's do you have by you? The Kegs in Toronto are all upscale, and delicious. Sports bar wut?

Oh we have classy Keg and 'cool'Keg and keggy more flat screens than a Best Buy Keg and while they are pretty good for what they are, your city has better.

I miss happy Gothos

Messing with my groove is the fact that I've spent the last 3 days writing a Use of Biological Agents and Genetically Modified Micro-Organism Risk Assessment form for my new additional job role as company Biosafety Officer. This makes me responsible for all of the infectious and genetically modified material used in the business and means I have to generally be a stick in the mud jobsworth. I'm worried that everybody might die!!!

So when some bio-mutagenic agent gets loose and turns everyone in your workplace and the surrounding area into hulking homicidal rage zombie freaks, we blame you, right?

Correct. I'll have probably missed a tickbox or something off this risk assessment form.

Ugh, if I ever walked into a Keg with ANY TV's whatsoever in it, I'd turn right around and walk back out. It's supposed to be above that crap.

Aw man, now I want steak...thanks Abyss.

I double booked myself  I'm always VERY carefull never to do this but I messed up this time. I'm suppose to be going to a friend's party tonight but I'm also suppose to be staying over at my mum's. Ages ago my mum mentioned that the kids would all be going on camp and that my younger (but adult) brother was going away that same weekend and asked if I would stay the night because she doesn't like being in the house alone (especially since the drunk across the road seems to think he can visit univited). In my defense she did say she'd get back to me about the dates - I just thought I'd have more warning then 'today'.

Grr.....

I actually like giving presentations, sort of, but I hate putting them together. They just reemphasize how little I know and how much question time will suck.

Sounds likes you're dealing with two females (ugh), so to save yourself from some emotions-style lady drama, you might as well lie to them. You don't wanna make them angry. And I think your friend and your mum will have more perspective (ie less emotions) once they get to college anyway. That's just my two cents, but if I know anything, then I'm pretty darn sure everyone else will be united on this matter.

Ha! :p
How does that sound like TWO females? Since when does 'friend' equate to 'female friend' :p Though he does like to go by the name Luci..... So maybe you're onto something there, worry. XD

EDIT: I tried but it isn't fun unless people are really geting worked up :p

My mistake, I apologize. I think of all other human beings as females, though, since I'm just that manly. Can't help it.

i'm not happy with the progress on my take-home exam.

I'm about 40% done, and it's due tomorrow at 9am. THIS night will be an all-nighter in truth (unlike that fake all-nighter on Monday).

the dissapointing part is that i've actually started working on this on Tuesday, specifically to avoid doing it last minute.
it seems I simply cna't focus w/o time pressure though. sigh.

I'm with you there. I've got to be in the right mood to get shit done. That mood tends to be last-minute panic.

it's not panic, though.
more of a cold realisation that there's no more time that can possibly be wasted.

I can generally estimate how much time i'll need for a given task. And untill I only have THAT time left, I will have a hard time starting.

I'm exactly like this, which is why having 9 months to write a thesis this year is going to be...interesting, to say the least.

People in their late teens/ early twenties who have just discovered 'Internet Memes' and are incorrectly using them in a British university setting and then asking everyone if they know about this cool new thing called 'memes' is really getting on my nerves this week.
