My first paper for uni is due on the 9th of March - the 9th!!!! Looks like I'll have to have it done and dusted by the 7th to ensure I complete it by the due date. Seriously Dean, unacceptable!

Took Mrs. QT out to one of the swankiest restaurants in the city last night. It was decent enough, and she had the beef tenderloin and thought it was delicious, and it came with a nice mix of veggies...but I had the cornish game hen (which was tasty) that came one a bed of some sort of high class beans, that were drowned in butternut squash soup/mash. Ok, so the beans were nasty, and even though I LIKE butternut squash anything...the bean flavour infected the squash rendering it un-eatable. So for $120, all I got out of it was a glass of wine and the equivalent of a small, though tasty, piece of chicken.

That said, the intention was to take Mrs. QT out for a nice dinner and that was achieved as she loved her dinner.

Still, my groove was messed because when we got home I was still hungry, but it was already ten PM.

Ugh.

We'd have been better off at our regular eat out restaurant, The Keg, methinks.

^ I often feel fancy food with razzle dazzle infusion of flavours will be wasted on me as Id just be like 'so wheres the rest of it?' kinda mentality. Ive been for a meal before and finished, still been absolutely starving yet having to foot the bill.
