A very good friend of mine lost a friend in a car crash yesterday. They were only 25 years old. My friend's absolutely shattered and i have no idea what to say to her. She was apologising to me because we were meant to hang out on Sunday so I could show her SW:TOR but the funeral is on that day. All i could think to say was 'Dude. Of course.' :facepalm:

The world feels like it's moving a bit too fast...things are changing. It's distinctly unsettling. Then again, I am starting university so there's that.

Groove-
Dues Ex: Human Revolution is simply not enjoyable. Its like an interactive film and is not what I wanted at all. Ive tried on two seperate occasions to get into it but its just not grabbing me. Maybe its because any game I played after Skyrimwas gonna look bad in comparison but really this isnt an enjoyable game.

it's official: my ankle is badly sprained. Again.

if past history is antyhtgn to go by, it'll take about a month and a half to heal. once I can even get the swelling to go down. Which won't happen Iuntill I stop being busy (which will be tomorrow after classes)

at which point' i'd have had 3 days to make a bad situation worse.

gah, I hate ankle injuries.
the kicker is: just prior to getting injured, I was composing a great plan of getting back in shape. grrrr....

Getting a crink in my neck from holding the phone to my shoulder. I was using my hand but after 10mins on hold I said screw this and went back to playing Amalur. 20mins later and still on hold. Usually I hang up by now but I'll just keep getting pestered if I don't sort it out. The annoying thing is there isn't anything to sort out - I'm on hold so I can tell them I don't have a problem. Sometimes customer service goes too far *sigh*

Pretty sure I have school today, but since I'm moving over to the outpatient clerkship, I'm not sure who I'm working with today since no one has got back to me. Day off? Or busy day for which I will most certainly be unprepared.

Really messing with my groove is that my brother is moving out of the house, and with him goes my parental buffer. They'll have free reign to harass me without fear of semi-public embarrassment.

Quasi-Messing with my groove is that Amanda Tapping (of Stargate fame) is the protagonist in a very (from the disparate episodes that I've seen) mediocre show that I just watched an episode of (which was amazing).

And now I'm going to have to torrent THIS show (Sanctuary) in addition to the 5 other shows in my queue.

@Stormy - yeah, Sanctuary has great potential, but I'm up to episode 9 and am kinda stalled, because the Monster-of-the-Week format is killing me, 'specially seeing as the monsters are somewhat...er...reflective of the low production value. Decent watch, though, I guess. I'll finish it eventually.

@Loki - oh, come ON. Every handset I've ever seen comes with a speakerphone option by DEFAULT, even the ones that are only like $50. And we're the comparatively behind-the-times tech country, here! :D
