PC games are making me cry inside...

I'm putting Morrowind on the backburner for now because I have NO BLOODY IDEA what I'm suppose to be doing, I tried installing the Witcher but the copy-protection on the disc hates my DVD drive - I think this is a sign to stick to videogames.

Will try one more game....I have narrowed it down to Prince of Persia (4, 5, or 6 - it comes with a controller :D ), Starcraft, Jade Empire, Modern Warfare or Crysis....not sure I'd do well with a mouse-controlled shooter though.....

EDIT: Ooo...Jade Empire is Bioware! Surely not even PC's could ruin a Bioware game for me.....surely?

well, after taking a procrastiantion detour (while I was eating), and trawling a whole bunch of forums, I now know that the launch crash of Mass Effect is due to my video card, and thus infixable. (unless I usurp my parents' desktop at home, which would probably be a bad idea). ah well. back to insanity defences....

Loki: what exactly about the Witcher is the issue? that game is awesome, you should not give up on it.

Mentalist - data5.cab error, something about cyclic redundancy something. And no, the disc isn't scratched etc. - from what I can tell it is a common issue. The only solution I found was to buy a new external dvd drive and even then it may not work. SOmething about the copy protection....I'm not real good with computer things but the Internets tell me I'm screwed. :D

That sucks. My old boss went just before the troubles. Don't worry, you aren't missing all that.

Sucks to hear that to Messeremb.

My evil plan that I hatched up with King Lear has been removed, after walking past said house to pub again this evening, said flags were removed, denying me the opportunity for a covert operation.

Goddamit.

My credit card account was closed by the bank.

I had a balance of ~800 bucks that I still have to pay (I assume).

But since the account was closed - I can't find it, and so I can't pay it.

GF and her daughter went home today. The place is so quiet ...

They left behind all sorts of food you have to cook. And salad. :D

EDIT: Also, Collingwood. :D

I'm allergic to my engagement ring...it was fine for a year but now whenever I wear it for more than a day it burns my finger...and we are talking full on burning here...I'm starting to get a scar from wearing it, removing it, letting the burn heal and then wearing it again.

Oops just walked into the kitchen wearing only a hoodie and pants to show mum a scar that I have from a recent bite and didn't realise my brothers friend was sitting there. I'm going to go in search of a sheet and do it Tehol style.

Assuming that the brother's friend doesn't prefer guys himself and the sight of a half naked woman doesn't terrify him...

Yeah I meant panties, I'm pretty self-conscious and my brothers friend is a teenage male so it was a little awkward but I have retreated heroically to my room.

Well, I guess there's that. I know it would've terrified me at 15. Wouldn't have stopped me enjoying it though. :D

Oi, only the bottom half being naked, and the most ehm, dire parts of that bottom half being covered.
So all in all, Mott might as well have been on the beach in a bikini - apart from the hoodie, that is.

I doubt gay guys have problems with a half naked girl/ woman. They're just looking at it from a purely aesthetic angle instead of doing some 100% pure oggling... same way I don't get aroused by the Venus of Milo or Bradd Pitt, but despite that, I'm more than willing to concede they both look awesome.

As for being terrified... that trickle of fear of 'is this happening? Is this REALLY happening? Like, for real?' is what makes things so much fun. Even now that I am approaching middle age.
