I don't really mind being sick... Shit happens, and as far as illnesses go, this time it's not that bad.

What's really messing my groove is that I feel like a total dick when I sneeze and cough in a bus full of people because I absolutely have to attend to every single goddamn class. I feel like punching myself when I spread my germs in a public place, I can only imagine how other people feel about it.
Kif: Sir, remember your course correction?
Captain Zapp: No.
Kif: Well, it's proving somewhat more suicidal than we'd initially hoped.

Fucking summer. Why the fuck is my apartment like a baking oven at 6 o'clock in the morning!? I am going out and buying a fan tomorrow.

EDIT: Now to get over my fear of fan death.

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

Hot for them is any day where the sun shines and/or it's over 20 degrees.

He means Celsius or Fahrenheit I assume. Since Denmark isn't fucking insane, we of course use the sane measurement system Celsius. Just like we use Kilos and liters.

My idea of too warm is when I don't need a blanket when I sleep or I wake up actually sweating.

Stupid sun. Ruining my sleep. If it wasn't because the heat makes the ladies drop several layers of clothing I would move to Siberia.

Celcius of course, I'm not an ignorant savage. Besides, 20 degrees F is below freezing.

Stupid bout of flu has ruined my Saturday evening and likely my weekend. Least the footy was good.

It's my birthday, it's raining, and my dad just walked past me with a blowtorch and a pipe wrench.
Oh, he's back, he just took off the faucet outside the side door. That's all good. But it's still raining.

Psh. At least that's a dry heat.

Indonesia. 140F, 85%+ humidity. And it was absolutely wonderful.

Thankfully Texas is hot but not crazy....

I remember South Korea being awful too... It was so humid and hot and bugs and hot and bugs and spiders and humid...and then winter was the opposite...

Super cold for ever and ever, I swear we were covered with the same ice for all of fall and winter.... -115 F. was common.. .

so now I change my mind, in light of Jusentantaka's comments (i had to copy and paste that name) the weather in Texas is not messing with my groove...

yah Texas!

No matter where you are, there's always another place with worse weather...unless you're in Siberia.

Did you get to see any of the anti US protests when you were in Korea? Hilarious. Students demanding you get out on one side of the street, shop owners near the base protesting the protesters on the other, and they spent more time yelling at each other than anything else.

These numbers, they mean nothing to me. Barbarian Americans, why don't you adopt a civilised system of measurements?!
