Despite asking like everyone I know, I still have absolutely no clue whose place I woke up in the other morning. This is really annoying me. Apparently I just disappeared on the people I was out with.

Year end group project

Not only is it due next week i have one group member that seems to think 5min a week will get it done. I know some groups that have been putting over 10hrs a week per member and still might not get it done. I hate idiots. Oh well, when the idiot fails he can retake this whole year a 3rd time

I'm not about to engage in a battle of the wits with an unarmed opponent.

Last weekend, I went down in NYC to see my woman off as she goes to Africa for the summer. I came down with food poisoning on the last night in the middle of the night. By itself, that's not so bad, but I don't deal well with people touching me when I boot, so her initial attempts to comfort me were rebuffed as nicely as I could manage given the situation - but still pretty rudely. Once I was done expelling the demons, I brushed my teeth, went into the other room, explained what was going on and she forgave my brusqueness. I wasn't up for much of anything after that, as I had the chills and probably lost 10 pounds in a matter of an hour.

The next day, I was back to full speed and brought her to the airport. She flew away to what will undoubtedly be an extremely rewarding experience and a fantastic career builder. There were no tears, only smiles, hugs and kisses.

And today, I wake up to no texts from her. That's what messes with my groove.

It took me a while to warm up to the constant stream of communications between us, but now it's slowed to a trickle (via irregular e-mails) and I miss it. Mid-July can't come fast enough.

I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

Hmm, what is messing with my groove? Well one of my classmates stole my HoC book and i am still missing 6 pages of it! im seriously pissed at the person, and the worst thing about it is that the guy probably took it to annoy me. I feel angry right now
