Forgotten to turn off travel alarm and it just went off. Scared the heck out of me.

But mostly, was going to make a run up the bay as the weather will be great, but there is a gale warning for nightfall and through the night.

Oh and the Yankees won.

Slayer have postponed their tour dates.
Which means it'll be rescheduled on a day I won't be able to go.

It does suck, I was planning on seeing the Slayer/Megadeth combo as well prior to this delay. My one hope is that it'll now cost me less to see Slayer when they resume touring.

Well if you bought the tickets do they reimburse you some of the money?
I've rarely heard of any agency doing that.

I had actually held off on buying tickets, mercifully. I'm not sure whether a refund would be given or not, although it's entirely possible with the box office here. Doesn't it depend on the promoter, in this case Gillett Entertainment Group?

Eviction is what's messing with my groove. And to top it all off I have to be out by the 15th of december, which means that I shouldnt really go to the Manchester Christmas gathering. But I have already bought my plane tickets and stuff. And I really dont want to miss out on all the fun.

Back hurts, no job, no booze, need drink, employment and working spine.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

I am wearing gloves, inside, in order to keep warm. Because my mother refuses to put the heating on, despite the fact that it's just under 8 degrees! I may have lived in the north for three years but this is inhumane!!

It takes ages to type, wearing gloves.

Well our Pres just cancelled our office Xmas party because of the alphanumeric flu (love that term, btw!). The irony is that no-one here has it yet but because most of us won't have been vaccinated by the time the party rolls around (thanks to an incompetent vaccination strategy) they aren't taking any chances.

I hadn't yet decided if I was going to go or not so I don't care that much but a lot of people in my office are now losing their collective minds. You'd think that they'd just announced that they were going to stop paying people, that's how much overreacting I'm hearing.

Canada seems to have gone way overboard with all this vaccination crap. Have any other countries even bothered? They realise it's not dangerous unless you're really old, really young, or pregnant, right?
