Damn that sucks SB! I normally just get the bank to take out a portion of money each month along with my mortgage payment, and then they pay it off when the property tax is due. It makes it much easier than getting that shocking tax bill and having to pay for it all in one go. Is that something that's an option for you? Either way property taxes still aren't fun, and it's a lot of money, I feel for ya!

I was eagerly anticipating Dust of Dreams....and found out that every bookstore doesn't have it. I swear to God, I've had it. I wanted to get it in September, but I couldn't. Now a month later, it looks as though I'll have to wait 2-3 weeks. Christ.

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

Wow, that sucks SB. Taxes are the worst. You'll pull through though, I'm sure.

In other news, damn daylight savings is taking away an hour of my sleep tonight.

Tip: Add all the taxes and extra expenses (insurance, gas, water, electricity, ...) per year, divide by 12 and put that on a savings account every month. Never have to worry about that tax letter landing in your mail box. It is costly per month, true, but it's worth it. At least you'll know where you stand and if you get a raise, it'll be felt and you will not have to worry that they'll come and get it the next tax round ;-)

Current shoe fashion is messing with my groove! I'm doing some online reconnaissance for a wedding outfit before I go shopping. Why do heels have to be so high at the moment? I don't want 4" heels because A) I'm not a midget and :) I have no desire for an extra reason to fall down drunk. All the sensible height shoes look like lesbian shoes these days. Sometimes it's hard to be a woman :)

I feel bad saying this but I've had it for over a month. Pat and the nice folks at Transworld were awesome enough to send me a UK copy.

Oh yeah, it is I mean when she laments how difficult it is to give all your love to just one man I'm totally with her, it's awfully demanding loving yourself as much as I do!

Time to worry about that was in the shop, not at home when your having feverish dreams about being a laughing stock at the wedding.

It seemed like a good idea at the time because I was really hungry but I just ate a pile of mashed potato at least the size of the one that Richard Dreyfuss sculpts with in Close Encounters Of The Third Kind! Now I can't help but think about what mashed potato puke might be like......

And I have a crush on a really geeky guy from the BBC series "Bang Goes The Theory" (which I only watch to make me feel clever when I can go "Ha, I already knew that!". I am such a feeble and pathetic person :))
