I organised to see a movie with a friend. For inexplicable reasons, he chose to do it in the city. I took an hour long train journey to get there. Now, the movie we were seeing was MA15+, and I didn't have ID. So, we had worked it out that we'd buy the tikcets together. I get there, my friends, geniuses that they are, buy their own tickets and go through. They refuse to sell me the ticket.

So there you have it. All that, for jack shite. When I got home, I punched the wall.

Why are you not punching your "friends"? Put the fear of God in 'em. Teenage a-holes can of course be teenage a-holes, but abandoning someone outside for a couple of hours sounds intentional.

They're not like that, but I intend to have stern words with them.

@Sir Thursday

Godawful. Hope you get through this. ;)

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

That's truly fucking awful, STD. Fuck. My condolences to you and her family.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Thanks for your kind words, everyone. I appreciate it.

Sir Thursday
Don't look now, but I think there's something weird attached to the bottom of my posts.

I had a mild psychotic episode today. I've been unmedicated for about 10 years now, but I might have to start taking the devils again.

They've got some monster side effects, so I'm not really going to enjoy it. Ugh.

Gaaa. Now I'm stuck in a small room with concrete walls, in which the drum line is practicing. My head is literally vibrating.

I may have a big problem with this project I'm doing-and I'm trying to ring people up to confirm or deny it, but so far no joy. Rage.

School. I'm only taking 3 courses this semester but one of them is sucking serious ass: engineering dynamics. Basically it's about studying the forces acting upon a 3-dimensional object while stationary or moving. It's not a terribly difficult subject on its own but my prof is not that great. Next week is the first test so hopefully I'll be able to adequately teach myself this weekend.

Frickin nightmare! I skived at work all day today but guilt finally got the better of me at 5pm so I am doing work at home this evening (how useless is that for a skive!). The work I am doing has been hanging over my head for a bit so I decided to man up and get it done. I am using some data from about 6 years ago. I am traditionally meticulous about keeping records and backing up files but the ones I need coincide with a computer death. Statistically speaking, I only lost a few but of course these are the ones I need tonight. I haven't lost the data, I still have it in a derivative format but I am having to manually add it to the required software. This is a goddamned mess when you are talking about DNA sequence files! I am literally typing in As, Ts, Gs and Cs from about 20 genes.

Backing up over decades lesson, well and truely learned.
