Almost no-one else has finished DoD so I can't make any discussion threads until at least tomorrow. This is also the least worst thing I have mentioned in this entire thread.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

What's messing with my groove: short version:

On Saturday morning my water was cut off by people who are renting the store that's below my apartment because water was leaking from the ceiling. They refused to turn my water back on unless I called a plumber (I am NOT the landlord, by the way) even tho it was 30 degrees and felt like a sauna in my place and they never warned me that they were cutting my water.

So I called a plumber---paying time and a half, mind---for what I think is a quick job. He realized that the pipes coming down from my toilet were blocked, he spends over 3 hours trying to fix it / unblock it and can't! A few hours later the landlord calls HIS plumber only to find out that there's roofing tar blocking two-thirds of the drain so they have to rip out the blocked pipes and reroute the water supply (or something like that) so I can get my bathroom back. I've been living at my aunt's place since Saturday and I have no clue when I can go home AND my poor cat probably thinks I've abandoned him. Thank goodness my neighbor is taking care of him.

Yeesh...so there, short version of my bathroom drama. I paid $600 out of my own pocket and nothing has been fixed at all. And I have no mo-fo clue as to how roofing tar got down the drain. Roofing tar!

Either somebody's stupid or an asshole. Some idiot probably poured some down your vent stack coming out your roof the last time someone worked on the roof.

TM- Seriously dude, move on. Apt might be full of bologna most of the time, but he's right on on this one.

Slow Ben is right on. Also, look into getting the money spent on the plumber, as well as possibly room/board, compensated by the landlord - that roofing tar isn't your fault.

Knowing the kind of people that work as part-time roofers, it's not all that surprising that some got down the vent stack and further damns your landlord as a probable idiot.

I still don't have DoD and I've got a big Science test tommorow-oh, and my teacher, incidentally, hates me.

Q: How long would it take for it to arrive if I ordered DoD from amazon in the next two days?

Yeah, I think the roofer was ten kinds of dumb! I saw the amount of stuff that the plumbers were pulling out of the drains (still no water at my place, by the way) and it's seriously scary. How can so-called professionals be such bone heads? At least I know I'm going to get my $600 back but right now I want my bathroom. Waaaah...

Despite what ive sed on this board it all came down to trust on my part. Though tbh Amphibian is right i am clutching at the faintest of straws trying to get her back. Id like to get back together simply to give it a positive effort on my part. If it doesnt work out then so be it. Ill be fine and shes not a selfish bitch really despite how ive put her across. In any case i suspect your all sick of hearing me bang on about my teenage angst  these arent real problems i know but i do still love her and want to make it work.

I am sadly waiting on tenderhooks for a letter and it hasnt turned up. Thats whats messing with my groove and ive been up since five for work and still havnt DOD when people in fucking DENMARK have.

Unless there's some weird weird rules in Canada, the people below you are not allowed to shut down your water.. If there's any resemblance to continental law - considering that I hardly know the facts here - there would even be grounds for reporting them to the police.

I'm wearing some really old jeans today because I am doing some manky work. I just noticed that they make me look like I have a penis! It's not a look I generally aim for......

Comcast internet went out last tuesday. Called them. They claimed it must be their modem. They can't have anyone come out until sat. I have thursday afternoon off for employee appreciation, so I roll by their office and exchange modems. Take it home. Didn't fix the problem. Bitched until I got manager, he got someone sent out friday instead of sat, and that person fixed the wire outside. Connectivity! Until Monday night, so I call up again, and he claims he can see the modem but the signal strength is 3 when it should be 40-60. Yes, I have Splitter on the coaxle, let me plug it directly in. Wala, 53 signal strength. Reset modem, good to go, right? Nope, was trying to check something this morning before work (because I got up an hour early, yay for lack of sleep!) and i have no connectivity. Modem is in room where GF is sleeping - cannot call in. Frustrated. Add to the fact GF is getting horrible FPS on her PC - which she shouldn't be, and only for one character. Blah Blah Blah

In other news, Work Blows, Its too Hot, There isn't enough beer, I'm tired of explaining how I poped blood vessels in my eyes, and my landlord just called asking where the rent check I mailed him over two weeks ago is.

On the plus side, Cougar apparently wants jeans that makes it look like he has a penis...

Its cool how you never have a witty retort, just call people names then yell at them for going off topic if they respond to you.

It's called teenage angst for a reason. Most, if not all, of us went through similar things. Muddle through as best as you can and when you're on the other side, you'll be a little smarter and a little wiser.

Fortunately, my younger brother managed to listen to me and my friends enough to save him some grief.

Hey! Stay on topic, Obdi! :The Force:
"Here is light. You will say that it is not a living entity, but you miss the point that it is more, not less. Without occupying space, it fills the universe. It nourishes everything, yet itself feeds upon destruction. We claim to control it, but does it not perhaps cultivate us as a source of food? May it not be that all wood grows so that it can be set ablaze, and that men and women are born to kindle fires?"
