When you read it, you're actually sucked into an alternate dimension where you were stupid enough to waste more than ten seconds thinking about maybe reading it.

The city passed a new regulation forcing hundreds of buildings in the city to be retrofitted to be more earthquake safe. Including the building next to mine, and the one across the street.

Retrofitting apparently involves four hours of early-morning jackhammering followed by a brief lunch.
