My pen tastes of pencil. It's messing with my head, man.

Why are you tasting your pen? :)

What's messing with my groove is all the TV shows going on their season hiatus. Oh, and Sarah Connor Chronicles was cancelled...bit late with the last bit but still.

Remember, Mez, I use to run pencils through my hair. Nice feeling....

Oh wait, I still do that.

My groove's messed because the little snotrags (siblings) are at home, when this was supposed to be my day off.
Suck it Errant!

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

It is a dark day. Mad Ted (the most mental of the mental cleaners at work) has learned my name!! He isn't ever going to leave me alone. What is it about large organisations that means they only employ mentally disabled people as cleaners and porters? My floor has Mad Ted, Mute Colin, Bridget the Midget and Crazy George. Crazy George doesn't like to talk, unlike the rest, including Mute Colin who really is mute and deaf which makes it a confusing process. They do a good job but when I am actually working, I don't want to talk for 30minutes about soup!!!

Today will be crap. Up at 5:30 am, working until 2, then overto the eye doctor. After that, I have to go to a medical banquet with my wife, which is honestly no shit called prom. It will involve crappy food, then 4 hours of stupid skits and in-jokes that no one other than the actual doctors will understand. Las year they actually made two full jeopardy boards of "jokes."

Examples? for two hundred, this doctor is known for always drinking coffee! Who is Dr. Bob! (At this point the crowd roars with appreciation, I die a little inside.) This goes on for an hour.

Other fun things to expect? Popular songs rewritten to include people's names who i have never met. I'm sure I'll hear that I Hope You had the Time of Your Life at least once. This will go on until midnight.

One of my coaches from high school got killed in a motorcycle accident last night. I hadn't talked to the guy in years, but he was an important part of my formative years. Shit.

I smell a perfectly sordid story brewing here...

My groove is messed because of a headache which is currently drilling a hole through my left hemisphere.

You're in, what, Year 10 AIJ? I wouldn't be getting melancholy just yet. It's only when you graduate and haven't had a gf that you should be getting sad lol. Anyway, don't be impatient. That's when you start to think about it and it gets harder (HA HA! Multiple entendre).

I'm unhappy because stupid Carlton barely beating the Lions stopped me getting all 8 tips right this round of AFL. Also, Australia lost. I'm still angry at that.

Ack....guess you're right Mappo. It's just everybody else in my year level seems to be doing that sorta thing. And the girl I like is part of that breed.

What sort of breed? The ones who are starting to date and do that kind of "stuff"? Well, I wouldn't get too down about it. I mean, it's not as if you're a pathetic loser if you haven't had a gf by your age. Far from it. I hadn't, and was still wide-eye stupid about girls. Around the start of Year 11 though things started to turn around for me. So give it time, and don't rush anything, because that'll just make you more self-conscious and be more of a hindrance than a help.

As to the girl, well, I'd befriend her, or at least be on friendly terms with her. Talk to her at parties, at school etc. and establish a rapport. If she reciprocates the feeling then go for it. If you're not sure, then go for it anyway. worst thing she can say is no, and you'll be regretting it if you don't at least have a crack.
