My zombie-killing skills have seriously deteriorated... My game statistics are a complete disaster.
The problem with people who have no vices is that generally you can be pretty sure they're going to have some pretty annoying virtues.

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

Hangover. Blech.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

meh, spent about an hour fixing plumbing problems in the house where i'm renting a room

on a Sunday

on top of that can't do get my lab done early, b/c I'm ana idiot and i forgot to mail myself the results. thus I now wait for some kind soul in my class to check their mail and send me a copy.

on top of which, my sleep patterns continue to be wrecked far beyond their usual horrific state, lowering productivity.

And i'm feeling generally exhausted and demotivated.

Well, I ordered Republic of Thieves from Amazon (they said the publication date was Feb 24, 2009) and when I checked my order it had been changed to January 2010! Ack. I was very, very disappointed.

Ah well, I guess I'll have to make do with the four other books (and the U2 CD) that I ordered...:p

Just realizied that for some reason, one of my employers only took 63 dollars in taxes out of my checks last year, which means the government wants more money when I file my taxes. Rats.

Don't tell me, you have a friend who has problems and you sit and listen and give advice. Then some time later, they come back with the same problems (having not taken any steps to fix them since last time), so you sit and listen and give advice. Then some time later, they come back with the same problems (having not taken any steps to fix them since last time), so you sit and listen and give advice. Then some time later, they come back and ........... the cycle continues for the rest of both of your lives until finally one day you think, "F*CK OFF WITH YOUR STUPID POINTLESS PROBLEMS THAT YOU DON'T EVEN WANT TO FIX!!!!!"

I don't know anybody like that.....! It makes them a bad friend for putting you through that shit :p

Messing with my groove, I made a stupid mistake and carried it through 3 weeks worth of experiments until somebody else found it!! I hate feeling stupid.
