You know, I had something to write about surprisingly complex dealings with women, but I read this post and realized that my groove is downright funky compared to this dude's.

Asberger's? You mean Asperger's. 60 is not a lot of sit-ups to do every day. People are on record as doing over 100,000 in 24 hours. And sit-ups have surprisingly little to do with overall physical fitness. Hope things are now in better perspective and get better.

I have always had periods where I don't feel connected to people at all (as opposed to minimally to moderately the rest of the time), as well as no energy, black moods, increasing desire to be left alone. But it's getting worse. So hard these days to put on the game face, a lot of the time I can't even be bothered trying. I just have to keep telling myself to "man up" and have a larger teaspoon of "harden the fuck up" with my weetbix.

It's Australia Day, everyone's getting into it. I'm not into celebrations at the best of times, but today I really, really couldn't give a shit at all. I just want to go to bed and have everyone here on base leave me the fuck alone for a few days.

Cheers,

La Sombra, can't even be bothered trying to be funny today. Apologies for having a sook, I just felt I had to say something, and there's nothing like teh interwebz for semi-anonymous ramblings. ;)

There were days in the army when I would just walk out of camp and find some lake/hill/whatever far away from people, build a campfire and just sit there alone for the rest of the day. Trying to be social 24/7 is exhausting. As for joining in on the festivities, you could try to starve yourself from human contact for a few days before the big party. That usually works for me.
The leader, his audience still,
considered their scholarly will.
He lowered his head
and with anguish he said,
"But how will we teach them to kill?"

It's Australia Day and a few friends and I were going to road trip to Adelaide to go to the cricket, but my friend crashed his car (the only one we could use) THE NIGHT BEFORE!!! ;)

Frustration and disappointment are too mild to describe what I'm feeling right now :)

Oooh....burn. Poor MTS, go have a snag.

I'm annoyed because of that PUTRID smell emanating from outside. Eau-de-Turtle, apparently.

I had many. :D

I'm annoyed because I have very sore feet from playing street cricket for 4 hours. And Australia lost the cricket...again! :D

I feel for you Beru! School is hard enough without having to deal with Aspergus as well. My cousin has it, he got through school ok but I know it was hard work. Have you thought about speaking to a teacher about the noise in class? You could maybe ask for a bit of quiet study time in another room to help you concentrate. Just be yourself around your new friends and maybe explain what Aspergus is so they can understand you better.

And 60 situps is more situps than I do every day, no need to try for any world records that Amphibian mentioned!!!

@ Sombra - I have to have my game face on being the new person over here. Starting my 4th week and I just want to be my grumpy sweary self but I'm on my best behaviour. It's killing me!

EDIT to snigger at the irony of my situp comment next to my Chunk avatar!

Consider this a test of your communication skills. If you calmly ask people to quiet down and explain to them what you're having difficulties with, they'll generally help you out and might even surprise you and go farther than the normal call of duty. That's been my experience thus far.

I have to say that you come off on here as an over-dramatic high schooler with an entitlement complex and poor perspective on things. People generally don't do stuff for assholes. If there's a continued problem after honest and calm attempts to solve the problem, then either you are surrounded by a large group of jerks with little disregard for others or there's something wrong with you. Which one do you think is more likely?

Also waiting to hear back if we have somewhere to move to is so frustrating :D

Edit: My firend who I bitch an moan about life and etc is not avialable at the moment. :D I like moaning and etc to someone who doesn't judge me

I just slipped and fell in the cafeteria here at the office (why do people get water all over the floor?? I always slide when there's water on the floor!) and I skinned both of my knees pretty badly. I hate skinning my knees. :respect: I would rather have sprained one of them, like I did the LAST time I slipped on a wet floor.

Yes, I'm a bit of a klutz. Oh, and the caf was full. Nice.

IT security keeps expanding the number of blocked sites. Now they've apparently decided that any url with "blog" in it is personal or social and therefore taboo. I'm simply not creative enough to explain how "Pat's Fantasy Hotlist" is work-related.
Shaken, not stirred.
