On second thought, perhaps they could have something like internet ToS displayed (like the text above the gates of hell)---"by entering this toilet you agree to the following terms and conditions: thou shalt buy something...". Hopefully that wouldn't be legally binding though.

Unless they make you click "I consent" to enter?...

As to London and bins, yeah it's apparently from the IRA times where bins were considered places to hide bombs? I mean it's 2026, but whatever.

Worth remembering that Manchester had a bombing a few years back. We're VERY cagey these days about any possibility of anything similar.

Ah, that's true. Well, that's a fair safety measure then.

Dolly Parton passed away, aged 80.

Damn, she was a quality lady, who wrote and performed so many all-time classic songs. :(

Wife's back in with a surface level infection. Needs debridement, so they had to admit her for at least a few days.

Fingers crossed for her.

But they really need to change the term "debridement". Sounds like an annulment, or a divorce. :p

Yeah it's kinda wacky ain't it?

Thankfully we got the infection early so it's more treatable, but it sucks having her back up there again.

There's been a flash flood on the Nepal-China border and it looks like there will be significant death amongst the damage. Brutal, I hope they get the support they need in the aftermath.

Tim Curry died.

Once again the wrong 80-year old (and former Home Alone 2 star) died.

Losing Dolly and Tim this week has been shitty.

And the solicitor now refuses to certify
And the vendor has set a deadline of mid day tomorrow.

Fuck the legal profession

Seriously, fuck right off otherwise.

Right? This sucks.

Got bit on the leg by a dog while I was at work the other day. Just minding my business getting tools out of the back of my van, and he runs out of the woods from the neighbors house, bites me on the leg and runs home.

Owners couldn’t provide proof of vaccination, so I had to get shots.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

That's horrible, I'm so sorry about that. Dog ownership means being super serious about vaccinations and training.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

This has now happened twice in Center City (downtown) Philadelphia in the past week:

First one around 3 AM Sunday morning, second one around 2:15 AM... probably the same robbers. (Hopefully...)

AR-15 armed robbery suspects connected to 2nd Center City attack – NBC10 Philadelphia

There are supposedly cameras all over the place. A lot of Philadelphia's nightlife is concentrated around that area.

Where is

when we need her?

But the robberies took place around the largest concentration of wealth in Philadelphia, and they're robbing people who are dumb enough to walk around wearing expensive watches, so... maybe they're a bit like Robin Hood with an AR-15? So much for wearing my $1000 open-back mixing headphones around Philadelphia though... even hidden under my hoodie it's probably not worth the risk.

Devastated to say that Sarah passed away at 13:30 today.

She'd been going for a CT scan to see if there was any blood clot, went into arrest en route and never woke up despite best efforts of the hospital. She was 37.

I am bereft and not likely to be around much. She was my entire world and it's 66 million BC. This has hit like a fucking asteroid.
