Death called. Just wanted to say hi. I told her you were in the bathroom.

Thanks for covering for me!

That may be the first attempt at humor about it that actually worked, a little. Bravo!

Is Tigana one of the Thundercats?
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Todays meeting:

Open with a 20 minute lecture on information that is not relevant in any way whatsoever and will not have any practical application for 4 years.

Follow up with a 30 minute discussion on a set of guidelines which were already sent to everyone by email and are basically identical to material that people are already perfectly familiar with.

Let meeting devolve into chitchat over utter minutae.

A rebel group breaks away and hold their own mini meeting within the existing meeting. Surprisingly they actually get some work done.

Serve tea that tastes funny.

Smile at everyone and tell them that there should be similar meetings more often.

Lizard people reveal themselves, attempt to massacre attendees. Lizard people poison in tea disables numerous attendees. Rebel group rallys, leads counterattack, forces lizard people to retreat. Both sides suffer heavy losses. Surviving poison victims expected to recover. Under observation against possible transformative substance in poison.

The upcoming ice storm that's going to hit this weekend. Of course it has to be on a weekend when I have plans that I need to drive to and of course I don't have winter tires on my car.
At least if I crash the freezing ice pellets will put any fires out quickly...

I just got the car in november and it's supposedly 4 wheel drive (rav4) so i figured I'd be ok for one winter, didn't expect this winter to be so bad but should have known better.

Low 40s to high 30s? Is this Fahrenheit? I'm not sure if thats hot or cold...

This winter can go die. Preferably in a volcano or something else that's warm

Holy crap y’all ought to see the size of this rat the trap killed. Nose to tail tip is over a foot. You could cook this thing! Not cool this thing was in garage. Been hearing them up in attic for a month and finally got some traps for them.

Preferably panther-sized at least by the sounds of it.

My groove? Desk PC finally died completely (corrupt registry - AGAIN) after half-arsed rebuild and now I have to shell out at least $1500 to get something vaguely acceptable (as I want SSD to raise reliability and cut down on heat). Curse prices for everything in this country! :D

I had to venture outside. Twice.

I feel like a Warcraft 2-era orc caught in a "Blizzard". Sincerely surprised my face isn't bleeding from the ice pellets.

The second time I had to venture outside was when I discovered that on the way home I lost the printout from the bank outlining my mortgage interest payments I need for my taxes. So I had to retrace my steps until I found it, wet and stuck to the sidewalk.

Fortunately, no one else is insane enough to be walking outside today.

Now I need to work for about 5 hours before I can go out and get drunk for a friend's birthday.
